Hello everyone! How is everyone today? I am doing great! Man this has been an exciting year for me. I am getting married in about 3 weeks. On December 11th. I am so excited for that.
So let's start at the beginning, I turned 33 in January and was very alone. My grandmother passed away in March and I thought my world had crumbled completely around me. Then I met Rick, he is the man of my dreams. He is 19 years older than I. But age is just a number right? In May I lost my Step-Grandfather. And Rick was there to pick up the pieces of my heart. I felt like for the last 4 years I haven't been living until I met him. I had litterally put my life on hold for the last 4 years. And now I am full of life. I can't wait to become his wife. And in September David (Junction-Guy) and I ended the marriage legally. Our Divorce was final on Sept 16. It is what we both wanted. We knew that we were not going to get back together. In November I got my very first driver's license. I have been a very busy person the past year. And once I get married I will become a Grandma! I love those babies more than anything.
Well that was short and sweet. So this will be my last topic. I will still check in every now and then.

Anyone else going to church this Easter Sunday?
by passwordprotected ini'm starting my day at 6.30am on top of the campsie hills for a brief dawn service with an ecumenical group of christians.
then it's back to one of the lennoxtown church for a roll and sausage.
our own church's service is at 12noon, so i may be able to go back to bed for an hour......hahahahahahaha i crack myself up.. what are you guys doing this easter sunday?.

Yes I will be going to the morning services and then coming home to fix a big Easter brunch. Then later I will be making an Easter Dinner.

How Long Should One Wait Before Remarriage?

is there a certain amount of time a person "should" wait before they remarry, either because of divorce or due to death?.

My uncle lost his wife back in 99 and got remarried in 2001. I think it all depends on the person. Me, I'll never marry again.

Newborn, I am very sorry things didn't work out. It is his lost! I wish there was to let you know that it gets easier. But it doesn't. But keep your chin up! Someone will come in a sweep you off of your feet when you least expect it!

Gents, now you pls explain...
by Newborn inwhy certain/many, guys, goes silent on you when it feels good (and after being intimate) and leave us women feel abandoned, like a question mark, like a fool and desperate when trying to get hold of you and ask why?.
i mean it's fine if you need time etc but pls then just let us know when we'll hear back from you.
waiting is horrible.. i hate to be in this situation again.

All I have to say is just Follow your Heart! That is the only advice my mother ever gave me that I use all the time. Only you will know if it is right or wrong to sleep with someone. Trust me I have made my mistakes that I am sorry for. But you live and learn. Not all men are jerks, there is still a few good ones out there.

Ladies, please explain your behavior

she was excited to go so we nailed down some plans and i bought some tickets for a live show at a theater.
the show was for 7:30 pm on friday.

I look at this way, she was wrong for doing that to you Else. Some women are just that way, they like to play the field no matter who gets hurt in the long run. Me on the other hand was raised with a little more self pride than that. I went to school with this one girl who dated every guy in school from freshman to seniors she didn't care. She messed with this guy's mind thinking that she was only dating him, well to find out his whole team had her. Needless to say she dropped out of school when she found out she was pregnant for the 3rd time and she was a junior and had already had 2 little ones at home. Women can be players just like men. You just don't hear about them very often.

I have also seen people who didn't smoke die from Lung Cancer. I agree that smoking is not the best for anybody. But who I am to say that anybody can smoke or not. It is a choice of the matter. It is very sad about Patrick Swayze, I loved him as a young teen age girl. Especially when Dirty Dancing came out. I think I went through 5 VHS tapes. I watched it almost everyday. I liked Ghost too but it wasn't my favorite.

Toe Rings

a couple of us ventured out and got them anyway.
we were considered a little weak - tho the ring never actually affected us in anyway.

Well I have short stubby toes, so toe rings never looked all that great on me. Now anklets on the other hand I love to wear. I have a few that are bells all the way around it.
