  can anyone provide me with any evidence (links to other sites is fine) that jerusalem could not have possibly fallen to the babylonians in 607?

  In the tree vision of Daniel four the time period mentioned is seven times which is seven years no problem there.

  The year day principle states and i dont beleive the year day principle is a valid biblical datum. "?You would be hard pressed to get a year day from numbers ezekiel or from daniel 9. In fact commentaries on the bible say that the year day principle is not necessary to explain daniel 9

  Can we also agree that the word day is not mentioned in the tree vision in daniel 4.

  The fact is time only extends to the cross.

  i was just at jwfacts.com and was looking at the daniel/revelation phrophecies.

  the book of daniel mentions 1260 and 1335 days.

  Why arent these day periods changed into years to comply with the day year principle? The SDAs do just that and at least it is consistent but the SDAs dont do that with every case of predictive phrophecy which shows they are inconsistent too.

  All claims of 1844-1914 is erronious because of this reason alone also. The truth is there is no time periods after the cross AD 31 is the end of the world legally.

  Christians just as non christian people are all born in sin its our nature to sin. i once heard the story of a scorpian getting a ride across a swolen river to safety . The scorpian argued with the dog he wouldnt sting the dog and the dog argued back. Finally the dog gave in and gave the scorpian the ride across to save his life and just as they got to the other side surely the scorpian stung the dog. When asked why the scorpian replied 'Its my nature'. And its our nature.

  WE will all be this way haveing a fallen human nature until Jesus comes again when we will be glorified and free from the presents of sin. Barry

  Scholar I am aware of some JW exegises reguarding the three and a half years from1914 to 1918 would this prophecy be better interpreted to mean 1260 years useing the year day principle as the SDA do ? This is the period of the dark ages and the persicution of true christians. As many SDAs teach.

  i beleive this prophecy is best understood to be relevevent to christians of all ages also i beleive this 3 and a half years is taken from the ministry of our lord just as our lord went through three and a half years is also true for the church.

  The three and a half years is also described as 42 months , times time and half a time as I recall and only once or twice 1260 days.

  without the word day how can the datum work?

  So whatever date you agree on how would you get to 1914 from there anyway? The year day principle is not a biblical datum for predictive profecy eg when our lord said he would be in the tomb for 3 days did he mean 3 years ? "You may know i am an SDA and the JWs probably got the year day principle from the millerite movement. There have been discussions in SDA ranks and many no longer agree with the year day principle Barry

  in the u.s, 1/3 of your salary/wages goes toward taxes.. also, we have various state sales taxes on certain "luxury items" such as t.p.

  in wisconsin it is 5.5%.. in 2004, 28% of americans had no health insurance.

  presently, 40% have no health insurance.. .

  I beleive taxes here in Australia are about the same as the US we have excellent social services including and we arent going broke in fact the federal government returns a very healthy surplus every year and has done so for the last decade.

  a friend invited me and my family to roman catholic easter mass & egg hunt.

  while ive been to a roman catholic church after casually leaving the jws, it was my first time attending after being truly out.

  i was hedonistic and even took communion.

  Flying high now, No I wasnt reffering to you going to the Anglicans thats OK as they have open communion.Actually I do know some Anglican people I used to go to there scripture classes at school. Also Im an SDA and occasionally we have had Anglicans taking the Divine service at the church. Thats the main service the SDAs have.
