  even looking at some muslim websites, you will see jesus shown to be evil and the christian faith to be a terrible group of people.

  so with this, why does minor comments on them and cartoons about their founder make them so extreme?

  Gday Danks , When white people got to tazmania there were only a few hundred blacks living there, These Tazmanian blacks are the original people that once populated the whole of the Australian mainland but had for some reson died out on the mainland. Observers of these Tazmanian blacks reported there numbers were allready diminishing and it was beleived there diet was of a very poor standard.

  I notice the artical you mentioned that several thousand Tazmanian natives or 3% of the population in Tazmania still exist. May I say there are no Tazmanian natives in Tazmania this fact is recongnised by many people here. Many may claim to be a Tazmanian native but they may do it to get benifits from the government. I have seen the so called Tazmanian natives haveing a corrobery and they were all whiter than I am, and whiter than you too Danks.

  Atrocities were committed on both sides both in Tazmania and on the mainland but that is criminal either way.

  Captain Phillip our first governor of NSW when befriending the natives got two spear wounds in his shoulder but ordered his men not to fire on the natives.

  Good point Elswere I dont see them [the islamofacists ] denouncing terrorism either. They Australian government held talkfest with the

  Islamofacisrts and told them all to learn to speak english and to denounce terrorism more vigorisly I think the message is getting through to some degree.

  I really take offence to people who live over the other side of the world saying we killed all the Tazmanian natives. They have never looked at the facts.

  What absolute rubbish. Christians, and other religions are just the same as Muslims well it havent anyone been reading the papers lately. And we killed all the Tazmanian blacks. There are more than one opinion on this if you care to read about it Dansk.

  In this age nucular weapons are a liability because if Iran does get to shoot one off there will be twenty going for Iran. They need to stop this loonicy or there wont be an Iranian to negotiate the surrender. I have a muslim friend and he also said Islamic countries should get nucelar weapons to take on the world and eliminate all non muslim people and that was before 9/11.

  A non nucular war with Iran is far more humane to both sides. I dont beleive savages can be trusted.

  I had a Muslim friend a nice bloke liked by most people he met. This was before 9/11 he sometimes would go off about fighting for God and slaughtering non beleivers.one night he said Iran and other Muslim countries should get nucular weapons and take on the west. It didnt matter that islamic countries would be bombed only that he would be doing right by fighting for God. I went home that night and couldnt sleep and as I said above this was before 9/11.

  I think the invisible presence came from the second Adventists.

  Adventists beleive that Christ has been present in the form of the Holy Spirit since the cross. Adventrists also beleive that Jesus will come in the clouds visible to everyone in the future.

  Adventists also beleive in 1844 it was the beginning of the investigative judgement before the second comming to see who is worthy to be ressurected and taken to heaven. Other churches dont beleive the investigative judgement doctrine and this doctrine and within the SDAs the doctrine is often in dispute. Many of the hardliners beleive it but the theologins and more informed members dont. Im one who dosent beleive the investigateve doctrine. Barry

  my daughter has been 'going out' with a black gentleman for the last year.

  they are very much in love by the looks of things and have long term plans.. however, opposition has recently come from somewhere i did not expect.

  it turns out that he has been very upset with his mother since she made several unpleasant remarks to him.

  after reading mary's post on crosses.

  i got to thinking.......... how do people feel about wearing crosses as a memorial or remembrance of what jesus went through for us?.

  does anyone remember witnesses using this explanation as to why they don't wear crosses or hang them in their home?

  Has anyone spoken 'in tongues'?

  i've been attending an independent church were the women wave flags, play realy loud live music, speak in tongues (not me) and alot of other thingsi never saw in kh.

  it realy feels weird, but have closer friendships than in kh.

  Its not a language itis just like sylibles put together or sort of like baby talk. Thats just my opinion hope i dont offend anyone. Ive heard it a number of times Ive even had people lay hands on me and speak in tongues to try to get me to do it but it never worked guess Im just not like them.
