i have looked at the thread about gay marriages in california and thought about asking this question there, but instead of hi-jacking that one i thought i would ask it here.

there seems to be quite a few gay people on this site and i wonder how many class themselves as christian?

if so, can being gay live in harmony with being a christian?.

The SDA church is very conservative but this documentry tells of three gay couples in their struggle with there faith and their homosexuality. One gay man was an SDA minister now has a partner. The younger gay man on the movie has a brother that is an SDA minister and his father is a conference president. The lesbian couple are finding they are accepted in the SDA church they attend and have as the witnesses may term priviliges. The movie can be bought online for about 10 bucks.

ryan bell has always been a radical.

ryan had a church in hollywood he offered his pulpit for a muslim leader to speak at his church.

he introduced many catholic traditions into his church and he was very accepting of gay lesbian and transgender couples .

Gday Phizzy, My family and I haven't been to the SDA church in over two years now but i keep up to date on whats going on.

We now attend an Anglican church it's just down the road from where we live.

0ne million crowns is only about $170,000 so they aren't millionares yet. most people in western countries are millionares anyway a house by itself is close to a million then add other investments on and you're pretty much there. I was reading an artical saying there should be a new definitionof what a milionare is the suggestion being one who has an income on one million per year.

The Norwegians do have a great electricity grid powered 100% by hydro electricity with no polution

And they sang a new song , five nil, five nil, five nil, five nil, five nil, five nil.

not even three days to beat the poms in the last game. They got beaten just after tea on the third day

I,m Just posting here because Iknow our english fans must be getting nervous every time they see the score on other media.

There is two and a half days to go for this test and we are nearly 400 runs ahead with 5 wickets in hand. We only have to declare and bowl the poms out.

you all should be ashamed of your egotistical selves.

how can you leave god's organization to celebrate the work of satan the devil?

it just goes to show you how jehovah's christian witnesses are correct about how persons will leave the truth for their own selfish desires.. first off, christmas is a pagan holiday and it proves no spirit with the almighty jehovah and his son, the christ.

I've never been a JW but the JWs loved christmas in the past I remember seeing a picture from New York at the Bethal building all enjoying their christmas dinner with all the trimmings. There is nothing wrong with celebration witnesses celebrate weddings the angels celebrated christs birth and there is nothing in the bible telling us not to celebrate birthdays.

Please post your biblical position outlining why christmas is not for christians. Barry

has anyone here left jehovah's witnesses to join the churuch of jesus christ of latter-day saints?

what was your motivation for doing so and how has it worked out?.

if you haven't joined the lds or considered it, as an ex-jw, what is your general view of the lds faith?.

The LDS church is a cult.

The LDS invited me to their church a while ago. The missionarys told me there was a great apostacy in the early church and expected me to believe a glib statement such as this. If there was an apostacy when did it occur . Was it after Jesus left for heaven, was it after or before the complete bible was decided and the trinity doctrine was decided in about 370ad [the mormons don't believe in the trinity]., or when it was when the roman church reached its full power and influence? Or was it at just the time that LSD apologists happen to dissagree with the church fathers.

The missionarys asked me to kneel down and pray that that I would accept Joseph as the prophet of god sort of like the Muslims accepting their prophet . It should be noted there have allways been people claiming to have the gift of prophesy in the christian church from the earliest times to now. I recall at the time of Ireaneous prophets were numerous. Barry

what a great day!.

once the kids were in bed, i set up my daughters new kitchen play set took me a little over 2 hours but was fun.

this morning we came down stairs and the joy on my kids faces and the wow!

Gday dazed, you celebrate xmas better than most . jWe are very casual about xmas we don't have even a xmas tree up or presents for xmas because whats the point when our kids know we put them there and not Santa Clause. Of course we go to the church for xmas services and what a wonderful gift to the world the lord jesus . All the thoughts of a baby be it youre own child comming into the world or the lord jesus when god for the first time connected with man is time stopping event in human history. Barry
