  if so, they probably won't come forward for a while, then when they do, they'll probably be dragged into the back room for a talk about how the dubs don't gamble, then the winner says he'll donate some, and of course all will be forgiven, then the dub may finally see the hypocrisy of the cult and denounce them on national tv as they hold up that big giant check for all to see!

  Islam does infringe on our rights right now. What newspaper anywhere in the world will publish a cartoon of their Islamic prophet ?

  The Islamists have their law and they have their punishment and it will be enforced on you where ever you are.

  There is no Islam light or moderate Islam. There are only moderate muslims or those that are not practicing.

  i know the arc is old news i know i am preaching to the converted but i had to express how i feel because most of my jw friends and family dont want to hear .

  so this is how i feel.

  i have faithfully served as a jehovahs witness for over 25 years..

  You're very courageous to come to this site many witnesses just wouldn't do that. I have the utmost respect for your stand in trying to make a difference because what happened in the past is done but from now on things can change and only people like you can make a difference.

  You're right no one can say you are apostate for your stand but even the WT lawyer seemed defiant even after all the evidence and rulings of the ARC. The WT lawyer was very much controlled by the dictates of the Society. Many here will be praying for your efforts because one more victim is too many.

  If any of you know much about Germain Greer remember she wrote the book The female eunic.

  Well Germaine has come out with a book just recently saying FGM Female Genital Mutilation should not be criticised because culture should take precedence over human rights in brown countries. She likened the example of a Goth in a western country getting their genitals pierced for jewellery to a 6year old girl being mutilated.

  Everyone can see the 6year old has no choice in this painful dangerous and unnecessary operation that will impact her life into old age and in many cases cause her death at 6 years at the time of her marriage or at child birth.

  Germains stand in itself is a form of racism because of someones skin colour they have to suffer this inhumane treatment.

  Village Idiot, There is a moderate Christianity because the thinking is that The Law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ that we may be justified by faith' Not in the old way of a written law but in the new way of the spirit'.

  Islam doesn't have that its the violent Medina verses that are taken as authority over the more peaceful Mecca verses.

  I can't comment of the Jewish theology but I find the Jewish state a beacon of democracy in the middle of hell.

  coalize, So would you feel happy living in an Islamic no go zone in France or England where the police can't enter. In Australia we have an Islamic population of less than 2% and channel nine reporters are required to wear bullet proof vests in western Sydney. Islam has a problem like no other religion.

  I repeat there is no moderate Islam but there are moderate Muslims which are those that don't take the teachings seriously.

  We are told a lot of lies about Islam and I would like to know why.

  1 Islam is a religion of peace. Bush said that and some in Australia have said that. History just doesn't make sense if we believe Islam is peaceful. I believe we have to be more sympathetic to the Jewish people in the middle east because I fully believe their present situation will be ours very soon with mass immigration

  2 Daesh, the 9/11 twin tower tragedy or any other jihad attack is not 'islam. In Islam there is no light or moderate Islam. This is a very unfortunate truth and moderate to a muslim is a disbeliever that doesn't pray or go to the mosque.Islam is Islam people don't get radicalised because they are already radical. The so called moderate muslim in England who just needed a hug has now been charged with threatening a British MP that he would bomb her house. Ajem Choudrey has told us many times there is no moderate muslim.

  What did you have for Christmas dinner?

  my inlaws are polish, though my husband is a 3rd generation american, but the food traditions have stuck around.. we have christmas eve dinner starting with red beet soup with sour cream, pierogies filled with mashed potatoes or saurkraut, ham, polish sausage sliced and cooked with saurkraut, turkey (that part is american), krischickies (likely spelled wrong) which are crispy pastries dipped in powdered sugar, and apple pie (also american.).

  there are goodnatured threats toward bad children who may need to get their dupa busted (butt spanked) and therefore santa will bring figismachen.

  i also love golabkis (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage leaves), but these were not served this time.

  Turkey was the traditional food for xmas here in Australia but then someone realised xmas here was the middle of summer and hot. They also realised seafood would be a good compromise if pre cooked and eaten cold.

  The point of all this is seafood is most popular here with 170 tons being sold at one market in Sydney the day before xmas. I live in canberra and the fish shops had lines with a hundred people and a serving ticket as the shopper went through the threshold to be served.

  I lined up seemed like two hours but I'm sure it was a bit less. I got prawns big ones, beautiful lobsters, morton bay bugs and oysters. All for about 300 bucks. i blew the buget for the week but then doesn't everyone at xmas. We are still trying to finnish it all off.

  American accents, Bette Midler, Clinton, Rick Fearon, Strathclyde, Morningside

  i used to enjoy being able to distinguish different local accents, but for some reason i've got worse at it.

  i was thinking about this today when i was listening to bette midler on the scottish radio.

  i thought to myself i quite liked her accent and also that it reminded me of someone else.

  I stayed with some Americans in California but that was a while ago. I'm Australian but I don't have an accent I remember driving down the road with a cute blond american girl and she says to me ' Just keep talking to me I don't care what you say I just love the sound of your voice' I was happy to oblige.
