No. Christ came into his kingdom in 70 AD. There were some of those still alive at that time.
Let me ask a question. What age were the disciples living in when they ask about the "end of the age"?
Answer, the Jewish age. The Jewish age did not end until the distruction of the temple in 70 AD. Please read Hebrews 8:13
"What is BECOMING obsolete........READY to vanish away"
It does not say that the old was obsolete. It does not say that the old had VANISH AWAY, yet. But it was about to.
In Matthew 23 Christ is telling the scribes and Pharisees that they were hypocrites, etc...
He said that there would be a price to pay and that "....all this will come upon this GENERATION"
Skip forward to Matthew 24. Guess what? He's talking about the same generation.
The question asked by the disciples at the beginning of Matthew 24 is about the destruction of the temple and the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Both events happened at the same time. 70 AD

Then why should anyone listen to them?
I'm not saying that no one should listen to the message of the bible, but one does not need to listen to the GB to get the message of the bible.
Oh, wait a minute, the GB says that we can't understand the bible without them.
What shall we do?
The GB is foolish but we can't understand the bible without listening and following foolishness.
Does that sound like God's plan to you?

Here's the whole paragraph.

You are right. If you and I were studying and I said "I think this bible verse means....." but I was wrong, that would not make me a false prophet.
But when the WTS says "Jehovah’s prophetic word through Christ Jesus IS:
This generation [of 1914] will by no means pass away until all things occur.”
Not, could be Jehovah's word, or could be 1914, or We think this is what is means, but IS. And BTW you had better believe it and trust it because not trusting the FDS is the same as not trusting God. (quote on request)
That's a false prophecy.
