I think that they will say, at some point or another, that a baby born before the last annointed (that saw the events of 1914 dies off) is part of the overlapping generation.
Remember than a baby born in the year 1914 was part of the "generation".
100 years plus 100 years = 2114

JW Pioneer That Has Baptized Over 100 People!

she is a genuinely nice person, and a very low key person.
she is pretty much fairly quiet and keeps to herself.

Do other religions change doctrine?
by serenitynow! inafter visiting with a couple of jws over the weekend; and for the first time talking about my true feelings about the org with active jws other than immediate fam, one of them mentioned something interesting.
when i talked about how with the constant changes to beliefs that i find it impossible to believe that the gb can be guided by the hs.
so one of the jws said, "other religions change doctrines around too.

Salvation is through faith not the GB. Relax. They are not right.
Try reading Romans, Ephesians and Galatians the same way you would read a news paper.
Paul's message is clear.
Romans 5:1 Therefore since we are justified by faith we have peace with God through Christ
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ
Ephesians 1:13 In him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, which is the guarantee of our [your] inheritance until we acquire possession of it....
Galatians 3:23-29 Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. 26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Examples of this message are all over the New Testament. Salvation, for the believer, is assured. We should be the most relaxed people on earth.

The Reason Why the Society Changed the Meaning of "Generation"...again

but i thought i'd go ahead and put down my thoughts on why the wts changed the meaning of "generation" again in 2010, after changing it in 2008. in short, i think the 2008 "new light" caused many jws to doubt that the end is imminent, so the wts tweaked the meaning of "generation" to re-kindle the zeal in the flock.
a bit more explanation follows below.. for the sake of completeness, here is a list of the society's various meanings of "generation" over the last few decades:.

I think it was just so they could get to the 2010 explanation and re-link the whole thing back to 1914.
The 1995 change was the big mistake. If they had thought of the 2010 explanation in 1995 they would have gone straight to it.

Some other religions change doctrice but most didn't claim that they are the "only" truth to start with.
That's the difference and a big one.
If the WTS is going to claim that it's the only true religion, then they should have got it right in the first place.
Not the second, third, forth, fifth...........never time.

CO visit reviews new "Generation" change today...
by Soldier77 inso this week has been co visit.
i'll try to do a review without too much of me going off on a tangent to get the overview out and then let you all comment as you see fit.. theme of the week based on matt.
24 (sign of jesus presence and the end of the system of things).. co stressed once again (he as said this in every talk this week) that we are approaching 100 years of jesus reign.

I think the WTS has out done itself this time. Most JW's never think past "I'm part of the chosen group, nothing else matters".
To get one "gasp" and several "WTF" responses from that crowd is really remarkable.

Honor Flight
by man in black insince i left the jw religion, i have tried to make an effort to experience things that i respected in secret during those years, but could never act upon.. one of the things i discovered and really respect is a program called honor flight.
they fly ww 2 veterans to washington dc for the day to visit the ww 2 memorial.
they figure that all of these guys will be gone in 7 -8 years so there is a real push to help them all.. look them up for your area, they are always looking for help in many different ways.. this is from the chicago area :.

I think when JW's leave the mind control of the WTS they start to see the good that has always been all around them.
Now that's not to say that there is not evil in the world. There is. But there's a lot of good as well.
