Great question.

The WTS wants you to believe that the "great crowd" is saved by being part of, and staying close to, the organization that is supposably being lead by the 144,000

The only problem with that, that's not what the bible says.

No where in the bible is salvation found anywhere except through Christ and being "in Christ".

The WTS clearlly says that the great crowd is not part of the New Covenant but the bible clearly says that it is only those in the New Covenant that are saved.

A person is either "in Christ" or they are not. "In Christ" means salvation, not "in Christ" means not saved.

Romans 6

" 1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Romans 8

The only biblical way to be saved is to be in Christ. There are not two saved classes as the WTS would have you believe.

11,824 Memorial Partakers in 2011

there were 11,202 partakers in 2010. and 11,824 partakers in 2011.. there was an increase of 622 or 5.5% in one year.. your thoughts?.

Newer teachings replacing the old

have you noticed that some newer teachings that were at one time fixed in stone have been abolished and now appear as new light.. 1. generation from 1914 to over-lapping generations.

2. annointed stopped in 1935, but 70 years later it is now acceptable.

if you were to suggest either one of these before it was made offical, i'm sure you could have been df'd for saying it.. any other newer teachings similar to the above that you may have noticed over the years?.

1952, Human generation of people that saw with understanding the events of 1914. (15yo to start with then 10yo and lastly babies born that year)

Babies born that year? So much for "with understanding of the events of 1914".

1995, A modern day equivalent of un-repentant Israel.

2007, Same as 1929. Some of the remnant will still be here....

2010, A baby born in 1914, becomes annointed, lives to be 100 years old and before he dies a baby is born, becomes annointed, lives to be 100 years old.

So there you go. The WTS has it all sewed up with no need to change anymore dates until at least 2114.

BTW they had to "re-open heavens doors" to make this work.

How do we eat from the tree of life? Is it our doing or God's?

1 John 5:13 Means exactly what it says. Believers HAVE eternal life. Eternal life = eternal salvation.

From reading what you have wrote I am lead to believe that you think man decides what God accomplishes?

According to 1 John 5:13 those that believe in the name of the Son of God have eternal life.

1 John 5:13

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."

According to Romans 8:38 nothing can separate the believer from the love of God in Christ.

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love."

Seeking after God is not something that natural man can do. He needs to be born again first. Being born again is something that the Spirit does. Not something that man does.

Ezekiel 36:26

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

"I will give..." "I will remove..." This is God taking action, not man.

John 3:3

In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

1 Corinthians 2:14

"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."

If salvation was left up to man, if it is man's choice, then all men would be lost. For man, without God's Spirit changing his heart, would not, indeed can not, choose God.

I don't understand why you keep saying that.

I have already told you that I have been saved by God through Christ.

None of what we have talked about and disagreed about has anything to do with salvation.

If you seek God you must have already had your heart changed by the Spirit.

If I seek God my heart must have already been changed by the Spirit.

Natural man (fallen man whose heart has not been changed by the Spirit) does not, can not seek after God.

I believe that both of us seek after God.

Evil Spirits

does anyone on this forum have knowledge about casting out demons or evil spirits?

there's at least two of them that have been harrasing me even before i was a jw.

i recently attended a deliverance church to find some help but it was apparent that the holy spirit was missing from that church.
