i apologise for upsetting most of you by logging onto this site.
i stumbled onto it by accident and stupidly never noticed that it said discussion forum, everyone welcome.
i just thought it was a site where witnesses discussed subjects, and did not expect such a negative response to my naivety.
Yvonne, I hope you see this because you have nothing to apologize for. IAs many others have said, this is a discussion board, and Ive read your posts, you have done nothing wrong. So dont apolize. We like newbies, and I would like to tell you welcome. Sometimes people don't always agree with what is said, but you are free to have an opinion, and to state it.

i'm just new to this internet stuff and am studying with the jehovah's witnesses at present.please don't take my lack of knowledge as cheek.
i just want to know if it's meant to be only jehovah's witnesses using this site.
i fully intend to become baptised but was wondering if there's any security to prevent people who shouldn't be using the site and are maybe abusing it from doing so.

How are we supposed to know what we learned from reading those wonderful pieces of hardbound crap the WTBTS is peddling?
Take a look arond here and you will see true scholarly FACTS as opposed to what you want to shove down the throats of people here. We are the ones who came prepared, we are the ones who are discouraged because of lack of brotherly love shown. We've seen your showing a publication, come on give us some facts and biblical proof except for what take off a cd.

i know i haven't been around for awhile, but a main reason is that i'm going to school for my psych degree and it's a lot of work.
that being said, i have the opportunity to do some undergrad research work funded by washington state university.
i have to submit a proposal and if it's accepted they'll fund my work to a limited amount.
I would also be interested in finding out some more information on this study. With just my recent school knowlege, I would love to participate! Would be great to see in a journal!

#2 daughter came home from college on 12/18 with a violent headache, nausea, neck pain and great fatigue.
we took her to the dr. on the 20 and again on the 21st as she had kept nothing down for 3 days.

Sorry to hear about your daughter lesion, Brenda. I am praying for you. I know a really good neurosurgeon, he performed a bloodless operation to remove I believe 4 tumors from an elder in my old congo. I have conversed with the man on one than more occasion (he also owned a coffeehouse I used to work at) and I dont know how you would get a referral, but he travels quite a bit (He's from Crete, and his wife is Welsh). Not only is he a brain surgeon, but hes a really great guy too. He recieved his doctorate from Oxford, if that tells you anything, PM me and I will see if I can get his number. If I cant get his number, I can atleast tell you his name.

i am leaning toward buying a dell notebook.
who uses dell, and if so are you happy with them?.
have a dell at home, and that it is what I have found at my college as well.
As I am a geek, If there is a computer around, I always check to see what kind it is....its been my experience that the two or three hospitals and the doctors offices I have seen computers in are dells. Ditto for the libraries, they always carry dells as well around here.
I love mine, but I cant afford a laptop. I got a Dimension 2400 w/40 GB and all the bells and whistles for about $399.00 Desktops are great...but I dont know about the laptops.
