there have been posts and topics about the wtbs imploding and feuding factions in bethel etc.
some have said that the end is near for the wtbs.
is this just wishful thinking...or do you really think that this is a reality?

Always remember the power of compound interest. If you had $4,500,000 dollars to invest in 1990 and you were able to find a 10year investment that paid 3% then by the early 2000s your investment would have grown to $6,500,000.
The 3% figure hapens to equal the world population growth. So, yawn, the WTS has grown but has it keep pace? I think not.

Trying to follow "spirit direction" I went to the KH Library
and looked in the Aid's To Bible Understanding book. I
checked under the heading "EVIL" and sure enough the
FS&D states that "dog almighty" was the creator. Showed
it to an "Elduh" and watched their face and ears turn bright
red!!!.hahahahahaha

When an Elduh came calling, I have not been to a meeting
in two years, about "things in my personal life that had been
brought to our attention" I ruined his day with a blast about
the UN scandal. Alsi I said you leave me alone and I will leave
you alone especially with regard to "liability" on a local level
and even presonally. He got the message and has not been
back in six (6) months!!!!!!!

does anyone know of any information comparing the growth rate of jehovah's witnesses to say the mormons or other "recruit-oriented" religons?
This information I "gleaned" came from the 2002 report thread.
Growth Rate Analysis,
As a businessman I am familiar how stock analysts
track growth rates for fast growing retail companies
and the % increase of "same store sales" is quite
important. You can only throw up so many locations
before you saturate the market and then start pirating
sales form other existing stores.
Therefore calculating the number of newly baptised
ones in relation to number of publishers generates
an interesting number.
1995 for every 100 pubs there were 7.0 baptised
1996 for every 100 pubs there were 7.0 bapt.
1997 for every 100 pubs there were 6.9 bapt.
1998 for every 100 pubs there were 5.8 bapt.
1999 for every 100 pubs there were 5.7 bapt.
2000 for every 100 pubs there were 5.0 bapt.
2001 for every 100 pubs there were 4.4 bapt.
2002 for every 100 pubs there were 4.0 bapt.
This is pretty obvious from the very good graph
that was posted above. The WT "ratio of pub
effectiveness" has nearly droped in half from
1998. Wonder if popularity of internet and
private investigation plus JW rumor mill was a
factor starting in 1998!!! hehe
Therefore as "older ones" die off, younger ones
become inactive the
"pub effectiveness ratio" should continue downward.
