by justmom inhello everyone.... i would honestly like to share why i come to this site when i am able to.. i too, like many here spent my whole life inside the wt along with my husband who was born in.
(i was 6) we have raised three wonderful sons now 27, 23, 21 who the youngest was almost 7 when we left and we were disfellowshipped.
(for so-called apostacy of course)and since then all of us partake of the christ by eating and drinking the manna and his blood.

Messerschmidt - the truth on offer. Everyone has the truth. No one offers a lie . No one says I have discovered a lie come and believe it with me. Again - Everyone has truth. Anyone who accepts your truth gets to be in your clan and together your lives are unbelievably enriched by it. Everyone who disagrees is objectified as other. Everyone who apostatises at some future point is objectified as hated outcast.

Step 3: Use physical metaphors to describe non-physical things that don't make sense. Deliberately obfuscate meaning and claim that understanding is granted by mystical force. Drinking water of life for example.

How do I hear/feel God?
by doinmypart inthis is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..

AGuest/Shelby's furbaby Li-Li is home!
by watersprout injust received an email off shelby to say that li-li arrived home a few hours ago.
she's in a bad way, rushed to the vet's as she pee'd blood all over the floor.
she has three small punctures, badly bruised and is doped up with pain killers and antibiotics.. the vet think's that due to her injuries she was kicked as well as being involved in a dog fight.. shelby is on full alert for any signs of internal damage loss of thirst/appetite, listlessness, more blood in urine etc.

Another super story - apologies for publicising a certain hotel chain. Story is awesome though.
Boy loses toy at hotel. Dad consoles him by telling him toy is on vacation. Calls hotel. Gets toy back plus vacation pics. Well done hotel staff.
