Define the term "apostate"
by Leander inapparently there are several different definitions for apostate especially from the society's point of view.. .
personally i've always thought that an apostate was a person who used lies, slander and half-truths to cause others to stop serving god.
but according to the wts an apostate could be a person who causes someone to have doubts about the society regardless if the information they are presenting is the truth.. .

Everyone, please read jonjon's personal experience at this link:
.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=7587&site=3That way you will get to know what he went through a little better.
Kevin, I don't know what I'd do if I lost my Girlfriend Saffron, she almost died on me not too long ago and I know how scary it can be having a loved one in the hospital with an ilness that kills most of those who get afflicted. I'm sincerely sorry and although also an athiest, that dosent mean i dont beleive in some sort of after life.Take care of yourself,

We're Better than Jehovah's Witnesses
by joelbear inthis certainly becomes clear very quickly when you see what love those here in our community have for each other.
its unconditional love too.. why, no one ever minds if you disagree with them or their personal experiences.
too, even if a disagreement arises it is handled in a loving manner with each individual showing respect for his brothers and sisters.. truly the on line community of jehovahs-witness.com shines as a light to the world as a beacon of hope, that, if our example was followed, peace, love and happiness would reign over a wonderful renewed planet, inhabited by people who have found a real peace of mind and ability to share their space with all.. truly, all jehovah's witnesses should want to join us in our wonderful land of freedom, where nothing can ever go rong.

Joelbear, it's idiotic to compare us to JW's and say 'we arent any better' and 'everything has good and bad sides' because well, we as acommunity havent KILLED anyone because of some insane policy we insist our members follow.

Hmmm..i think one of the most unusual and exotic pets you can have is a Palm Civet, (or sibet) a small marsupial under the scientific name Paradoxurus. This marsupial is a tree-dwelling animal belonging to the Sibet family.
Why is it so odd? Ever heard of Kopi Luwak? (or KAPE MILO) The rarest and most expensive coffee in the world. There is only 500 Lbs on average of it available per year. Kopi Luwak sells for $75 per quarter pound.
Kopi Luwak comes from the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi which are part of the Indonesian Archipelago’s island chain. On these Indonesian islands, there's a small marsupial called the Paradoxurus. This marsupial is a tree-dwelling animal belonging to the Sibet family. Once regarded by the Indonesians as pests because they climb into the coffee trees and eat only the ripest, reddest coffee cherries. What these animals eat they must also digest and eventually excrete. Some brazen local gathered the beans, which come through the digestion process fairly intact, still wrapped in layers of the cherries' mucilage. The enzymes in the animals' stomachs, though, appear to add something unique to the coffee's flavor through fermentation. Yes the most expensive…the rarest coffee in the world is partially pre-digested and excreted by the Paradoxurus.
How does it taste? It's really good, heavy with a caramel taste, heavy body. It smells musty and jungle-like green, but it roasts up real nice. It's a most complex coffee with unusual flavor due to the natural fermentation the coffee beans undergo in the paradoxurus' digestive system. The stomach acids and enzymes are very different from fermenting beans in water. The flavor is earthy with a musty tone that’s heavy bodied. It's almost syrupy with a unique aroma. It's an unbelievable taste in your mouth: richness, body, earthiness, smooth.
Is Kopi Luwak worth it’s price? Those who have been fortunate enough to try it at a cupping are delighted with it’s intriguing chocolaty, syrupy taste and would enjoy it whenever it is available. By the cup, it costs no more than a fancy latte at around $5.00 per cup, when you can find it. Well worth a try…even if only for the novelty…until your taste buds tell you how delightful it truly is.
so not only is it a cute pet but you can sell it's droppings after you feed it raw coffee beans!

Moe, if you want an unusual pet get a caiman, they grow to be six feet long and can eat your cat but they are darned cute for a cold-blooded carnivore.

by joelbear ini have been considering taking some self defense training for some time and with recent events this has moved up on my priority scale.. any suggestions on which type of martial arts would be best for a complete beginner.
i have never been in a fight in my life, have always talked my way out of trouble in the past.
but think its time to prepare myself for more.. thanks.

boxing is very inneffective against multiple opponents, chinese forms are designed to fight off many opponents at once.
Mui-tai kick boxing is a good style though, american kick boxing sucks
