I'm tired of all this sex in the bible. Even with the large font EZ-read bible versions that are the size of encyclopedias I keep on falling off.

by Leander inthe bible clearly states that fornicators will not inherit god's kingdom, but the question is "what is a fornicator"?
if i remember correctly the word fornication is derived from the greek word "porneia".
the problem is there are different defintions of that word porneia.

by bboyneko ini found some ladies purse at the local shopping mall parking lot tonight, it had her entire life in it, her social security card, her cell phone, her cash, her credit cards, even her daughters social security card.. from looking through the contents, me and saffron were able to find out many things about her:.
1)she had recently moved from way out in the country to columbia maryland... 2)she was probably divorced from a man of middle eastern origens.
3)she was white.

I found some ladies purse at the local shopping mall parking lot tonight, it had her entire life in it, her social security card, her cell phone, her cash, her credit cards, even her daughters social security card.
From looking through the contents, me and saffron were able to find out many things about her:
1)She had recently moved from way out in the country to columbia Maryland..
2)She was probably divorced from a man of middle eastern origens
3)She was white
4) Her job in columbia was at the columbia assosiation, a neighborhood gestapo that controls everything here in columbia :)
5) She has season passes to amusement parks, a sign she is trying to spil her daughter of whom she probably feels guilty for having put through a divorce
6) She is very neat and tidy
7) She cares about her kid and is a member of the local parents teachers association
I had a hard time finding her phone..this is the third lost wallet ive found this year..and the hardest thing to find is a phone number..you dont realize how few people have their own number in their wallet...
anywayez...i find her number in an old dry cleaneing receipt..I call her and she is very happy and i give her back her purse and everything..i could have easily stolen the cash in her wallet and given it back saying 'thats how i found it' She hugged me and said 'god bless you' and her daughter was very happy.
My point: If there is no god, will I be rewarded in good kharma? Will I get reincarnated now as a eagle instead of an intestinal parasite? What reward do we get as humans for doing good?
My real point: Why didnt she give me some sort of reward???? Last time I lost my wallet in a taxi cab and the taxi driver found me the next day and gave it back..i gave him $50 for his trouble and as a sign of my appreciation. This lady gave me a hug ...booo

i hope this ngo/dpi alone will prove the dangers associated here.
blind faith simply does not pay off.. here is one way of describing the difference how faith can be based either on assumption or a proven knowledge.

Pros and Cons about Jehovah's Witnesses
by Leander inthe purpose of this post is to try take a close but un-biased look at whether or not jehovahs witnesses are the right religion.
in my few months of doing research about jw's outside of their own publications i've came across a wide variety of viewpoints.
some people are skeptical or unsure if the wts is really the right religion, some are certain that jw's are wrong but have no ill-feelings toward them, some individuals downright hate the organization and still others are certain that the wts is the real deal.

In a effort to be objective I have to agree with some of the statements and viewpoints that have been made. But to flat out dismiss that the WTS has never done anything that was positive is untrue.
Doctor Josef Mengele, Chief Medical Officer of Auschwitz-Birkenau and labeled "Dr. Auschwitz" by Robert Jay Lifton, was arguably the most well-known of the Nazi doctors. He killed thousands in inhumane ways in the name of science. To say he did not do anything positive is to not have a balanced viewpoint. For example, he was known to give lollipops to small children before he sent them to the gas chambers, and his experiments on freezing human beings and then finding the best method to thaw them out have benefited freeze/Cold victims today.

The WTS is organized very well, they have managed to show consistent growth and JW's are known in many lands for their preaching methods. Some people may not like them knocking on their doors but its something they have become known for.
The Nazi's were also organized very well, managed consistent growth (taking over all of europe) they were known in many lands for their methods. Some people did not like them invading their countries but it was still something they have become known for.

I've posted before about the regularity of extinctions on this planet, one of the more major ones wiped out 95% of life on the planet..it seems to happen every 12 million years or so, and this regularity with massive extinctions each time have led scientists to beleive that there is some huge gravitational body (maybe a planet, or asteroid) with an enourmous orbit that drags massive comets with it past earth every 12 million years.
