Any thought behind your " Avatar"

i think that's the correct phrase?

anyway when i first came here, that little picture that "the rebel" hides behind, was a self portrait of a very sad man, who simply had too much knowledge.

now i feel after 7 months here, i should repaint that " avetor" give some happiness to the eyes, and a contented smile to the lips.. in short my " avetor" was a self portrait of a man with too much knowledge.

Start your own Prince rumour!

i see the jw rumour mill is going into mad overdrive about prince.

the stories seem to be more and more unlikely.

so i thought as a bit of fun how about us here try to make up our own rumours?

at first this thread bothered me A LOT but 2 glasses of wine and an hour later I can work with it. thanks!!

:)Rumour has it, once upon a "time"...

Prince had a "thing" with an angel of the creator God, YHWH...there is the whole "time"..."eternity" thing and Jesus died in time...we all enter eternity at the exact same time because Jesus is in eternity.

So, (looking back) I was in eternity because everyone enters at the same time...though we are all subject to our birth date as to when we enter time (are you still with me?) anyhoo...when my beloved Prince was in time I was still in eternity cuz I wasn't born yet, heheh...I was a well known (yet little understood ) angel saved into eternity.

So, time goes on and Prince is writing songs and remembering stuff and things are getting clearer, as they have a habit of doing if you're paying attention. He writes popular songs and this all happens after I'm born in time and when I hear these songs I'm all like ? "This totally resonates with me right now in *my* stream of time (though, I'm sure it resonates with a whole whack of people who see themselves as "angels"...let's be honest, someone writes a song about "angels" and they come crawling out of the woodwork 0_o [not hating because we all DO have our moments ]

...all things work together for those who love Him (God) and so, yeah "things" ARE working together!

Therefore...long story short: Prince did pay attention and was cognizant of the will of God in his life. He wasn't just being "creative" when he sang about "an angel coming down unto me"..."thieves in the temple" really, time and space converged upon a moment...this moment.

Rumour has it there isn't an angel around every corner but, hey...they exist and they're here to facilitate movement toward doing the will of God. Would you harken to the will of God or not?

Would YOU pay attention and make this moment count?

As always...questions...will ask them? or are YOU the cage to his dove?

Your Thoughts: My wife said...her service friend. speculated Prince would leave his vast fortune to the Society!

so, talking with my wife yesterday.

she was out cart witnessing (barf) and one of the people she was with claimed to have know prince, or meet him or something like that.

well anyways...they or her or someone (they are all braindoogled) speculated or fantasized that since prince did not have any relatives or something or the other.

Prince said in an interview, "I can't be played. People who try to play me play themselves."

I'm convinced that Prince did know ttatt and (as I said on the JW fb page) his lifestyle was at odds with everything that JW's are taught are the dictates of God. It isn't God that decided that some can't be involved in sports at school and some can be like Prince. It is clearly the whim of men. I hope every JW will question why there is preference given to celebrities BUT, it is your voices that can bring accountability because "the sheep" wont go against the WT. Prince did his part in showing the hypocrisy of the GB...honour that, it's YOUR portion of the inheritance...keep the media interested in the subject by contrasting r&f with Prince with special attention to the fact that GB makes policy not God.

jesus wrote nothing.. stop and think about that.. if jesus were the authentic messiah, his ministry would not simply be local.. his instructions, his mission, the details of his teachings would be too precious to risk leaving it in the hands of "men unlettered (illiterate) and ordinary (blue-collar yokels).".

jesus, were he the one and only hope of mankind, would be absolutely certain to write down with great simplicity and specificity the exact owner's manual necessary to rescue mankind.. never happened!.

those who recognized Jesus were part of the remnant of God's people who hadn't bent their knee to other baal(s). There never was an OT expectation that everyone who did hear or see Him would recognize Him even if they DID know the prophesy. Yet, someone like Nathanael (john 1:45-49) did.
