  Hey Vol:
  You know you can just walk away if you want!If you have made up your mind your already there.I just stopped going at 16 didn`t want to talk to any of them so I just split,yeah sure people were calling wanting to have a bible study and ask questions,I just said I wasn`t interested,(sorta slamming the door) lol!You may feel that you have to explain yourself to them and bring them with you or have them try to understand your new views but they won`t so say see ya and leave it, no problem!

  lets get all hypothetical.

  lets imagine you are starting or have a business and you need an accountant.. one of your main concerns is their honesty.. you interview some potential employees.. they have very similar qualifications and experience.. the only difference is their religious beliefs.. person 1 is a catholic.. person 2 a moslem.. person 3 an atheist.. person 4 jehovah's witness.

  (imagine you are not disfellowshiped so they wont shun you).

  wouldn`t it be great to get some territory cards with a list of dubs adresses?walk up to there door all dressed up with your briefcase and ring the bell and wait to see the joyful smile on there face willing to greet a fellow dub!

  and then pull out some old quotes from old mags and confront them!hey why not make up a few pamphlets too!

  legal suggestion when facing elders .

  there have been a number of posts stating that the elders have called and requested a meeting.

  i guess that either there is a full moon out, or the society has been putting the bug up the elder's rectal orfice to chase down less than active jws.

  These are great suggestions,I am sure that many people need to close the Witness part of there life in this manner for many reasons! I also think that there is another method and that is you don`t even have to talk to the elders just leave,no explanation no more contact the leave me alone concept.You are not bound to them at the hip you don`t have to answer to them they don`t own you!
