  Are you "weak" in the "truth"?

  what does it mean to be "weak" in the "truth"?.

  weak can mean any of these things :lacking strength,easily broken,lacking vigour,not convincing or forceful.. so which one is to be weak in the "truth".. well to be in the "truth" means , i believe practisng the "true" religion.so if you are not fully practicing you are consideed "weak" by jehovahs witnesses.. is this idea presented by jesus in the bible?that if you have trouble doing what is asked by god you should be labeled as "weak"?.

  no.it is just one of the ways which we used as witnesses to intimidate people.. people don't like being called weak.. but witnesses like to think that if they are pioneers , elders etc they are strong, if not you are weak.. another evidence of the lack of understanding or humility shown by "gods true orginisation"

  go out witnessing and have such a really bad day - doors slamming in your face, sun pounding down, elder and wife perfect have placed 100 mags in the last half hour while your struggling to shove a tract under the door of not at home after not at home and you're standing at a door with the most obnoxious, smallminded half-wit, who won't let you get a word in edge-wise - that you just loose yer cool and go off, i mean really go off?.

  i'm curious cause apparantly alot of witnesses used to do this and that's why you now have to 'qualify' to become an unbaptized publisher!.

  Studying Bible alone is not good enough?

  does anyone have a link to where i can find quotes from wt publications that show they frown upon relying solely upon the bible for studying?

  i seem to recall somewhere in the publications that they imply that one cannot comprehend the bible without the food from wt publications.. the reason why i bring this up is because i have a jw acquaintance that says the organization actually is promoting use of the bible more than ever, because the jws are relying too heavily on wt literature simply because it is easy to understand.

  this person gives the impression that wt publications are secondary now to the bible.

  well, it has gotten to be stale around here so i am also leaving.

  i have no reason to stay because i have fulfilled my mission, to get my wife to see the truth about the truth.

  you all have helped me out, and i thank you.. i will leave a few questions that perhaps no person can answer..... how can god have always exsisted?
