Don't feel bad. My wife, who was on the worship team at the church we used to attend, was removed for a period of time from the worship team by the imperial pastor and his wife for missing too much church. She had just got a position that required her to work Sundays for about six months. So the weird and wacky is not left only to the J Trouble-Yous.

Inconsistant loss of 'privileges'
by Lore ingotta love how giving talks, mowing the lawn, plowing the parking lot, adjusting microphones and counting the money are all considered 'privileges'.. but if you just stop answering questions.
bam no more giving talks, handling mics, or definately counting money.. but no matter what you do.
you will never loose the 'privilege' of mowing the kingdom hall lawn.

Need Help From British Football Fans
by XJW4EVR ini have closely followed the premier league for the last 13 matchdays, and i am getting ready to pick a team that i will not only follow this year but for the foreseeable future.
i am not interested in chelsea, manchester u., manchester city or arsenal.
all four remind me of teams i loathe in american sports (cowboys, yankees, celtics).

I have given considerable thought to Man U., however, they remind me of the New York Yankees baseball team. In other words a team so awash in money that they can buy anyone from anywhere. I am not so naive, however, to realize that this is the state of modern sports. Aside from that, do you think Rooney will be gone either in January or in the summer transfer window?

I am, however, open to fans of these sides making a case for them. So far I am leaning towards picking one of the following: Bolton Wanderers, Everton, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Liverpool. All five, with the exception of Liverpool, have impressed me with their form. Liverpool fans, however, sing one of my favorite songs, and that is always a good thing in my book.
So any thoughts?

Proud To Serve Winery
by XJW4EVR ini met one of the owners of this winery this morning, and while i can't vouch for the quality of the wine, the cause, of which a portion of the proceeds go to is worth the potential of a bad bottle of wine.
a portion of the proceeds go to veteran treatment programs.
please do not turn this into a political thread.

We all agree that our (American) vets deserve so much more than what, we the government, give them. We can do something else to help them.

Republican Vs Democrat
by Bangalore ina republican and a democrat were walking down the street when they came across a homeless person.. the republican gave the homeless person his business card and told him come to his business for a job.
he then took twenty dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.. the democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless person, he decided to help.
he walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office.

Im afraid Jesus is a myth taken from the Egyptian savior Horus

I'm afraid the myth of Jesus coming from the ancient pagan myths is a myth. I guess that's what happens when people with an agenda doing shabby research get behind a keyboard connected to the internet.

I don't play roulette in Vegas. The odds are too far in the house's favor. Blackjack, however, is a beatable game. For basic strategy I recommend Edward O. Thorpe's classic, "Beat the Dealer." While this book is very old, nearly every new book I have read on blackjack still refers back to Thorpe's work.
Beat the Dealer also goes into card counting, and how to adjust bets according to the count. However, while card counting is not illegal, most casinos frown on this activity, and will ask you to leave if they suspect you of card counting. A banishment from a casino will only happen if you are wagering big money. A guy like me that bets $5 to $25 dollars a hand is not going to get noticed.
Some of the better books can be found at Gambler's Book Shop. Google them or visit their store in Vegas.
My games of choice are craps, blackjack and football (NFL & college).

Original Van Halen...HELL YES!
Van Halen w/Sammy Hagar...HELL YES!
Van Halen w/Gary Cheron...HELL NO!
The reconstituted Van Halen with Michael Anthony replaced by Wolfgang Van Halen, and David Lee Roth? The jury's still out.
However Sammy Hagar & Michael Anthony's new band Chickenfoot is real good.

Yes, you're right. My extensive posting history has brought me in contact with your own blather often enough to know, yes yes. I must tell you, your most obvious area of improvement is, interest. You're really quite dull.
Obviously the lack of estrogen from your menopause has affected your ability to write meaningful insults. I would love to continue, but insulting tired old hags gets tedious and tiring.
