as most of you know, i am an 'undercover brother' (someone who appears to be an exemplary jw but is making strides on escaping).. my wife is a loyal jw.
since we had the book study last night i needed to tape the show.
(by the way, my wife knows about my doubts...).
If all the people in the Dateline Story LIED, why didn't Brooklyn meet with Dateline and TELL them that!? Why not provide EVIDENCE of lying? (of course, I know there is NONE) Instead all that was offered was a video NON-response and a couple of cases involving non-JW molesters. And that was after Dateline waited 6 months!

my mother called me again to talk about dateline and the fall out at the cong.
she said the elder (or guy giving the talk-i am not sure if it was book study or a meeting) read a letter from the society saying: .
"it is all apostates who are doing this".

After reading some of the comments made by JW's regarding Dateline I have to agree with the poster, sorry I don't remember who it was, that wrote that these people are not defending the WTS, but *themselves* for being a part of it.

iam pleased to report, my jw daughter called me this morning.. needless to say i was thrilled to hear from her.
as many of you know to well, it is a small blessing, but huge when it's coming from an active jw.. i have decided to leave off talking anything jw related, and just enjoy getting caught up on the latest in her life.. there is hope.. danny

In particular:
Gumby and those pesky blockheads (G and J if I recall correctly)
Casper. I had a Casper pullstring doll. Wish I still had it. I understand it is worth $$$ now. I thought that Casper was so sweet and I always got annoyed when people screamed "a ga ga ga ghost"! when they encountered him.
Land of the Lost (I think that is what it was called). Sheesh! that show was cheap looking, even then!

i must have annoyed someone i guess .
i have seen some emails that have been faked to look as though they came from me (and this site).
they typically have a subject line such as 'a nice game'.. please be careful about opening any emails especially if the have attachments.
I got a fake email, with attachment, from a well known person on this board. It just struck me as strange. There was a misspelling in the subject line, and that threw up a red flag for me.I didn't open the file. I emailed this person back and asked about it. This person, had no idea what I was talking about. They never sent it.

Funnest one I heard came from a TV show I use to watched. One of the characters was "diagnosed" with Obnoxious Personality Disorder. LOL!
I think that may actually describe a few on this forum.
