'Apostate' or something better???

i desperately feel that the grand title of apostate applies no more to ex jws than it does to the whole of active jws.. therefore, i am asking for some sort of alternative title for the wonderful people who post on here.
the word apostate strikes fear in the average dub.

I like your suggestion...but I can't see the JW communities adopting a new word....they all 'talk the talk' and they won't change their words unless the borg puts it in a WT article to stop using it...kinda like when they said to stop using the word 'society' when describing the borg. They will keep the word apostate because of the fear that is attached...however I would like to adopt a new universal word...for those of us on the outside...which we could use when we do happen to engage in a conversation with an active JW or a JW relative.
What about 'born again'? No that's already been taken...

there is alot of things that i want to say but you know that jesus said in matt 24:9-11 that you would hate his faithful ones ,but to be honest with you ,we don't hate you ,cause in matt 5;1-9 says that we will be hated,so since we all know that ,than it is a pleasure that you talk about us.and other thing that i want to say is that people in the world thinks that we are crazy ,but if you would read the old testament than you will know that the jews were to serpart themselves from the other nations and that is how jehovah's witness fell about it,see when the jews would be around other nations than they would forget jehovah and they would worship other gods.when they do that ,it would cost them their lives.so it is good that you are talking about us and i would like for you to continue to do so .why?

it's been a trememdous battle for her and her husband.

She may be overwhelmed with support already... but I have been thru something similar...except it didnt end up going to court...and we settled on extremely good terms. I now have all three of my kids with me with their JW father's support...its a long story but it took strategies that you would not believe.
If I don't hear from her..pass on our love and kind thoughts.

Spanish JWs Here???
by Undecided inhi folks.. the other day i was with my brother-in-law at one of his rental houses(he has 25 in eden) and i saw a box of cds.
i picked one up and it read "kingdom songs" and it was produced by the wt society.. i asked him if they were jws, he said he didn't know but they weren't catholic but were mexican.. a few days later i saw a couple of people next door talking to my spanish neighbors.
they had to be jws, book bag, bible, literature and that "look".

Its not at all uncommon...the 30ish sister was scared of ending up a spinster..she was settling if you look at it physically. But truth is...she prolly thinks herself lucky to have scored the 'catch' of the day. Its just the usual technique where the dodohead sleeps her way to the top...she marries the PO DO WhateverO...and wakes up in the morning as one of the prominent ones who takes the lead in the army of sisters!

Heyy Chezz..how's it going??
I had a thought...wanna have xmas with us this year? Andy's family usually have their own family unit xmas dinners etc...so that pretty much left us on our own last year. We still enjoyed it all the same...me more then the kids. But would you and J and the kids like to come over and have xmas dinner with us? Just a thought I had..since I have no family here in Australia...and since yours are all johos lol.
Something to think about i suppose...we have plenty of time :o)
