Kristi died about 30 mins. ago
by Frannie Banannie infor those of yall that didn't know, kristi was a 37-yr-old ms patient that i took care of for the last year of her life.
she had a wonderful ribald sense of humor and talked like a sailor at times.
but it was all to cover up the ultra-sweet and tender heart she had.

Do we have a complete head count yet? I hope to see you all posting soon. My heart goes out to our friends in the UK. It does seem like yesterday that we were going through this here in the US. I remember turning on the TV each morning with dread, afraid of what I might see.

Rider,
I think you will be alright. Maybe we could have a competition called Most Crappy Family. But you learn to overcome and DAMN that feels GOOD. You are young and need time for nature to finish your development. My family was slow to grow physically. My daughter grew almost three inches after starting college. Also your brain isn't finished yet. Try to be patient. College is like kindergarten. Everybody is wanting to make new friends and so friendships are easier to get started.
You are in the midst of a huge transition and it is normal to feel they way you feel. Don't worry it will be ok.

by Alexander ini wouldn't be here wasn't it for a link on google on the moscow ban that led me here.
i am shocked by the hatred many of you display in your posts.
some claim that we break up marriages, yet some of the happiest couples i know are faithfull brothers and sisters.

Alexander,
Naughty, Naughty, you are not really supposed to be surfing around are you?
I think you have doubts or you would not be consorting with us.
Bet you wouldn't admit to anyone that you were here would you?
Hope you find real truth.

I now know what it feels like.
by Es inhey all i used to read posts where people have found out they have lost loved ones and were never told about it nor the funeral.
last week my mum called me up and said "by the way sister such and such passed away last week the memorial was yesterday"!!!!
i used to be close to this sister and for those from australia might even had known her or heard of her sister isabelle sewell married to ted sewell, they have been living in bethel for over 10 years now.

Dang that just PISSES ME OFF.
and I am truly sorry for your loss. How does that scripture go? Oh yeah "and the love of the greater number will cool off" the greater number of JW's that is.

Chemo begins today
by outnfree inso, i've been sitting at the computer all night long, not really panicked, but definitely disturbed at the thought of what the months to come will entail.. the port-a-cath was "installed" (surgically) on monday, and that was tough.
somehow the lumpectomy last month and even finding out that there was lymph node involvement was okay.
scary, but okay.

Outnfree,
I did not know this was going on with you. I must have missed a thread. I feel just awful for you.
I can understand how you feel about the chemo. The idea of putting into your body something that you know will make you sick, well its just contrary to the natural instinct to protect oneself.
But it does sound like you are casting around for a way to wrap your brain around it. I do think you will succeed with that. I have heard of some books written by kids with cancer, the kids used visualization to help them cope. Kids can teach us so much because they just say what we cannot or have forgotten how to say.
Please keep us informed, I would feel honored to be at your disposal when you need to talk.

Aren't the JW's supposed to be in paradise right now? Yup I'm pretty sure that certain generation has passed away and so has fulfilled prophecy . . . wait calculating in my head . . . yes it all adds up . . . I would definitely be watching lions lie down with lambs, oh and I would be making glue from barnacles too.

Hi Millions!!!!
Welcome and Congrats on the fade. Hoping to hear from you often. It sure is fun, you find yourself having opinions and the dreaded independent thinking. For example: Someone makes a statement and they believe it is true, you read the statement and think to yourself, I don't actually agree with that, you wince and look around guiltily because you thought for yourself.
When nothing bad happens you actually express your opinion, thereby giving a voice to your independent thought. Maybe some people agree with you and say so, some people do not and they speak as well. And again nothing bad happens, as a matter of fact something good happens-the exchange of actual ideas. Amazing
