  Hmmm, I wonder how come the Scandinavians don't spare the rod like the Bible says. Could it be they have found a better way? Hmmm, I wonder if anyone looks at a thing like that and asks themselves if their are any other faulty guidelines in the Bible and therefore with the JW's. . . . Nah!

  My grandma died last night

  actually she was my stepgrandma.

  she was 86 years old and in a nursing home in florida.

  she was a jw and had been active up until the last few years of her alzheimers disease.

  I am sorry. Perhaps you could just go visit your Grampa when you can. There will be so much commotion during the memorial that you wouldn't get any quality time with him anyway.

  As for the JW gossip mongers, they will talk if you go or talk if you don't, so just take care of you and your Gramps.

  is there anyone out there that is real good with history that could give me a timeline for the past say 3000?

  years that would list all the horrific things that were happening around a certain time period?

  im trying to show my wife that things are not that bad right now as the wts would like her to think.

  Comin out my ears Blondie. 2 step daughters age 32 and 28. One step daughter and son from my first marriage, 35 and 31. Four of my own, boys 27 and 25 and girls age 23 and 21.

  Out of rehab

  i was discharged today from the rehab center in the hospital.

  there were 14 inpatients there and i was the least of their worries.

  i would take 8-15 10/325 generic norco (think strong vicodin without too mcuh tylenol) a day and that's it.

  I am so proud of you for going. Must have been some wakeup call - seeing what was down the road if you didn't get things under control. I will be here for you. My brother is a drug addict and I wish he had the courage you have shown. Admitting you have a problem is big. Congrats and keep communicating.

  it wasn't the big stuff that made me decide i could never go back, it was one little thing.

  i have been thinking about my journey out of "the truth", and i think i can pin-point the last straw.. .

  i had been out for years, but always thinking that if i got my head together someday i would be good enough to go back.

  a brother tells the elders one of the brothers in their hall is a member of the ymca.

  the elders assign a qualified brother to check out this accusation.
