  Noah Update

  just thought i'd bring you all a noah update as promised.. he's doing well, a good sleeper by all accounts but on the recieving end he's keeping us awake more than enough lol.. mummy is tired, daddy is tired but happy - we got what we wanted - hard to believe this was in megan all this time...weird .

  hope all of you are doing well, i'm enjoying being free of the site for the time being and although i see me returning one day, it will be in a new capacity and after learning a few more things about myself and life.. till the next noah update!.

  What Are Your Special Interests?

  first of all, i'd like to say that the purpose of this thread is in know way an avenue for me to boast, but merely to share an interest with you all.. there is one thing at least that i'd like to get back into now that i no longer have so much of my time taken up by jw activities, and that's music.

  i won't name the instrument on this thread because that'll be telling too much info about me(as if i already hadn't) and i don't want to just blatently give my identity away since many local jws know about this, but i'm starting to realize how much i've missed playing the intrument.

  i haven't touched one in 5 years, yet i still feel that i can pick one up and play it.

  i been thinking about friends i have had in my life.

  there are different types of friends,most come and go for different reasons.

  some friendships are conditional like jw's, but true frienship is something really special.. the heart needs friendship to make us feel that we belong to life.. we need special people who accept us just as we are, who make us laugh when we need to,.

  I may be in the minority here, but I still feel that I have real friends in the Borg. Just because of circumstances, we can't get together right now. Yes, it is due to stupid rules of a corrupt organization, but the friendships are still there.

  I still love them, they are just not free yet. I hope that someday they get out too.

  JWs preaching at college

  today, while i was making my way across my college campus between classes, i encountered a surprising sight.

  there in the quad was a table with literature spread out on it, and two jws sitting beside a sign proclaiming "free bible course".

  how interesting, in light of all the recent denouncing of higher education, that they should be right there in the middle of academia.

  i'm not a big fan of surgery.

  i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.

  i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.
