in the talk he gives reasons for the r&f to trust the fds specifically the gb.. the talk is nauseating, but shows how desperate the gb has become.

How Were You Treated as a Jehovah's Witness if You Had Depression ?
by flipper inmost of us who were in the jehovah's witnesses for some time realize that for years the watchtower society had always discouraged it's rank and file members from going to see therapists, or professional counselors if they had depression, or serious chemical depression.
the watchtower society always told us to go out in service more, do more personal study, be more regular at meetings - and essentially we would lose our depression , and everything would fall right back into place.
the old, " don't worry, be happy " cliche.

Yes, I received similar "help" as others mentioned here. Except I had an elder that personally thought he was anointed to help me. His favorite thing to tell me is that he thought I was pathetic, and just needed to become a spiritual man. Oh, what warm fuzzies that gave me! Especially when he started seeing my wife at his apartment with no one else there. I guess rules are just for the "little people" that are pathetic.

when i explain this to you, some of this may appear comical, in fact, now that i overcame it years ago, i can laugh at it, but when you see the totality of the story- when it happened then to me- it was no laughing matter.

I was DF'ed and came back a couple of years later by kissing some serious butt. They had me leave my support group that helped me while out, and within a few years got DF'ed again for the same problem. I was in a miserable place for 3 more years, until I did some research and ended up here. The most startling thing about being mentally free from the mind control, was that I was instantly free of the fear of dying at Armageddon.
So glad to be out,

My JW wife is a FUN KILLER!!! My ex- wife JW wife was................
