Close enough. It is under dispute, but Thomas Crapper "a.k.a. John", has been attributed with inventing the toilet. He did not invent it actually, he just improved upon someone elses design. Kind of like Edison with the light bulb. Your turn.

i have been fading for years now and attend meetings very rarely these days.
but something happened recently to make me think about going regularly again.
a couple have returned to my congregation who used to be special pioneers here twenty years ago.

a buddy of mine and i went out to the cardinals/tigers game yesterday.
i bought my tickets through ebay and found front row tix right behind the cardinals bullpen.
of course, it was more than ideal for photographs.. .

not the actual bluegrass here in kentucky, just a family here that have decided to stop being part of jehovah's witnesses.. .
my wife and i were both raised in the organization and it is still a difficult journey for us.
her family is still active and that makes it tough for us to go quietly.

we've been fighting a tumor that is on her leg...because of her age, the dr and i decided to not do surgery back in april because it would be too stressful and the tumor wasn't growing.. in the past 2 weeks, the tumor took off growing so fast that now she's in danger of it breaking open.
we are going to have the tumor removed tomorrow since the dr. said that she is happy and not in pain and can have a bit more time with her.. we may have her for another 6 months, possibly a year.
i can't put her down just yet and since the dr says she's not exactly at that point just yet, we're going to keep her until she starts going down hill.. i'll let you know when we do get to the point of actually having to put her down.. i'm scared a bit because i'm so attached to this dog as well as the kids are.

in a few hours.. to a new life, a new adventure.. thanks to the board for helping me to get to the place i am now in life.. it feels great...it's taken alot of time, thinking, pain, overcoming fears, communication and a good dose of reality.. believe me, .
