  as some of you may have noted james bonnell the local po here made a comment in the local paper.

  today i recieved this response in an email, i thought it was worth sharing.. silentlambs.

  This is one of the most confusing posts ever. Ranchette has made a good effort to clarify it. But confusion still exists.

  First, change the word response to message, response means reply, the message you received is not a reply to a post from silentlambs.

  Two, is the word silent lambs after your introduction of the post a signing off of your introduction or the salutation from the email sender?

  Third: boldwords added by belbab (for clarification of the meaning, I hope) and message put in italics by typing at the beginning of the message, [ ] with an i within the brackets and typing [ ]with /i within the brackets at the end of italized message. If I type the i and /i you will only see the result of italics not what I typed.

  I reply to this man,(to Mister Bonnell) (who is being used by the Jehovah's Witness Society),
  I don't appreciate YOUR twisted views of this matter. I have seen evidence of your wisdom. When you were approached on the matter of my daughter's father,(my former husband??) who admitted to molesting my younger sister,(ie, my former husbands sister in law) you looked at my little sister and stated, "What is the big deal, it is not like you were raped or anything."
  I am deeply saddened that someone like my daughter's father,(my former husband) and James Bonnell is allowed to offer counsel and guidance, and be in any good standing at all within an organization that professes to be exclusively of God. This just adds insult to injury.

  Keep up the Great work SilentLambs...Shine those lights, and EXPOSE this darkness!

  Feeling At Peace?

  are there any others here in the room who feel that they are very close to feeling at complete peace with themselves, or are in fact at complete peace with themselves?

  I feel I can say that I am close to being a peace with myself. Even though I am reaching out for the next milestone of four score years and ten, with not too many aches and pains.

  I guess one of the major aches and pain is the alienation between members of society, even with those on this board. Twenty years of people in my life have been ripped away. Much of our relationships with others is through the internet, through books and movies. Will we ever get to the place where we will meet one another face to face? Or will we always be in a prison cell, tapping on walls or pipes to communicate with the prisoner next door?

  i forget what his name is.

  he's the gay guy, who likes to dress in drag and thinks he transmigated to become jesus himself.

  his posts are just entertaining, and i need a laugh right now........ his dementia was very amusing, but now i'm wondering if he's gonna transmigrate as a troll.. who is this dude?

  Larsguy has a whole bunch of aliases, Bibleman, Joshua 92, Lin Calier and others I can't remember. On the old H20 forum, he enigmatically posted his different names. You can always recognize him from the subject matter. They revolve around himself, becoming JC in 1992.

  i heard a rumor that a couple of years ago the jw's actually outlawed french kissing too.

  can anyone tell me if this is true and also whether or not there has been any "new light" shed on the policy since?.

  FRENCH kissing, politically incorrect. Would not go down good in France, they are having enough trouble there already. If they banned FKs then they would lose a whole bunch more dubs. Call it Afhan kissing or something else.

  The letter does not feel like a letter from the Society, because of the vocabulary and writing style, check spelling and grammar. The thoughts though are good, they may think, now why didn't we think of that. Also, many are mistaken in what an NGO is and a DPI. An NGO, non governmental organization, can be any organization that is non government. An NGO, not an individual, can apply to the UN to be a DPI and participate in UN activities. Maybe others can explain this better than I can.

  Is it OK to kill somebody?

  Around 1962, In Prince George, BC. an older brother of east
  European origin, who did not speak English that well had a jewelry store and it was robbed a number of times. After one robbery, a policeman said to him jokingly, Why didn't you shoot, the bugger or something similar. The jeweler took the policeman's word literally.

  The jeweler, who was a Jehovah's Witness had his apartment upstairs above the store. Another breakin took place at night, someone was breaking down the back door, and someone was on the roof.He took his rifle and shot the intruder dead.

  Almost before the prison cell door slammed shut on him, he was disfellowshipped. His Jehovah's witness friends of the same nationality were dismayed, they couldn't even go and visit him in jail, put up bail or help or comfort him.

  I don't know what happened to that old brother. He had no witnesses for his side of the story. The last I heard was that the intruders claimed that they had only been drinking beer in the back alley. I left that town shortly after and I never heard whether the jeweler got off or not.

  Will you be alone on Valentines Day?

  i just happened to glance a the date as i was posting 2-13-02. one day before valentines day.

  i realized that i don't have a valentine.

  i subscribe to the idea that it is better to be alone and wish you were with someone than be with someone and wish you were alone.

  Hi All,

  I don't know whether I should enter this thread or not.

  I have MY VALENTINEor maybe it should be, MY VALENTINE.

  What you have done with your posts is made me appreciate, my valentine, and so tomorrow I will not take it for granted, and make an expression of Happy Valentine to my one and only.

  I did not realize how many of you out there, were alone, with no one real close to share your inner selves on a day dedicated to closeness, warmth and friendship.

  Sometimes, words in a card, a message on the internet are not enough, but they help.

  So my wish is that all of you, male or female, be my collective Valentine tomorrow and all the days to come.

  But there may be something I can do. I want to share something with you. We have two sons, the younger, blonde blue eyed, outgoing, girlfriend popular, etc. aged twenty two.

  The other, age twenty-four, dark wavy hair, a loner, shy, finds making friends difficult. He recently completed a degree in archeology, and another course in wilderness guiding program. But it is hard for him to find work in activities that he loves. He presently works graveyard shift for a security firm, drives around all night alone for ten hours, checking out premises. He sleeps during the day.

  His appearance is almost like a Greek god, but he thinks he is hidious, his self esteem has always been low. This morning while having tea with my wife and I he says, do you think there are girls out there that would like me, that are the same as me? By same as me, he means, loners, shy, depressed etc.

  When I learn how to put pictures on this forum, I will post his picture here. In the meantime, maybe there is something you could do,if it is pleasing to you, no matter what your age or gender is. Could you send him an e-mail and wish him a happy Valentine's day. It would make my day, his mother's day as well as my boy's day. His name is Myles, his e-mail address reveals his name, but I do not care. e-mail: [email protected].

  in this case it is the whole chapter two of second thessalonians and i had hoped you would read it on your own when you could spare the time.

  I can't figure out much about your post, Is there other references I missed. Are you kinda speaking tongue in cheek.

  I was just reading 2Thess chap. two, I think we are on same wavelength. You don't have to quote it for me, I know how to look them up myself.

  Glad to hear you are getting an education, beats getting it in or out behind the Kingdom Hall.
