I don't know if this was ever mentionned on this site before, and I hope I am remembering right.
When the booklet Millions Now Living Will Never Die was first published, the word Will was used in the title.
Later after l925, I am uncertain of exactly when, the title was changed to: Millions Now Living May Never Die.
Certainty and Conviction faded away to Uncertainty and Doubt.
I wonder if anyone could locate a copy or reference of this booklet with May in the title instead of Will.

Dirt that the WT has swepted under the carpet, their cobwebs in dark corners, skeletons in the closets, dirty laundry, whisperings behind closed doors, you openly bring out into the light so all may see.

If a body of elders got sued, no way, even in secrecy, could they give them any support, because if it became known, it would indicate that they definitely are the ones responsible.

they said that if i do go to the jc and ask them to help me understand why they believe certain stuff and then ask for a study i will probably not get df'd.
i can "bow" down to them and do their little game if the results would help my family.. i love my family very much.

Have you thought of talking it over with your mother and sisters? Ask them what relationship you could have with them. If you are booted out, will they still have coffee with you?
Tell them you do not want to meet with the elders right now, stall for time, tell them you have to sort things out in your own mind.
Write a note to the elders and ask them for some time, nothing definite, you need some space to sort things out.
These are only suggestions, based on what you have written. Only you know the whole story, follow your heart.

during my dubbie days, 1958 - 1972, there were no such things as official "elders".. we had "servants".
congregation servant.. asst congregation servant.. bible study servant.. (the above 3 were "the committee" and were in charge of df-ing and probation, etc).
magazine / territory servant.. watchtower servant.. literature servant.. accounts servant.. however, when the book jw's in the divine purpose was released, i seem to recall that mention was made several times about the old days when there were "elders" appointed in the 30's and 40's.
When the change was made from servants to elders around 1970 and I was alreadt doing the slow exit walz, a group of us were sitting out in someone's back yard, taking it easy during some pre district assembly work. The district servant was there and he was telling us there would be some new light at the assembly, something about the servants. I said oh, what is it? Are they going to start rotating the servants? His face dropped, and he changed the subject. I knew I had hit the nail on the head.
I thought at the time, that the reason for rotating the servants/elders was because in many congregations, the head servant, the congregation servant, was entrenched in his position. Many of these were laid back, not progressive enough for the WT. He was not laid back enough to remove him, but many of the others servants were gung ho, so I believe the Society just thought to rotate them.
Then I believe someone in Brooklyn, said how come the head ones of the Society are not rotated, and then the shit hit the fan, Knorr and Franz thought they were being demoted. If I remember right Raymond Franz talked about this in his books.
I do not know whether they still rotate the elders. some of you who were in later, can may be able to tell us.

Also, are sitting at a district assembly and feel you will never be able accomplish all the instructions about field service, and you feel that you have been rejected by Big Jah.
You feel that you are not praying enough, not paying attention to meetings, not loving enough, not giving enough, not producing enough in field service, cheating on your time too much.
