picture this: you're an archaeologist minding your own business in new mexico when a guy comes up and tells you he's got something to show you.

once you check to make sure he's wearing pants and double check to make sure you've got a gun, you follow him to this town outside albuquerque called los lunas.

picture this: you're an archaeologist minding your own business in new mexico when a guy comes up and tells you he's got something to show you.

once you check to make sure he's wearing pants and double check to make sure you've got a gun, you follow him to this town outside albuquerque called los lunas.

I read recently that in 1492 when Columbus sailed for the new world, that same year the Jews in Spain were expulsed from Spain. It is speculated that some of his crew members were Jewish, and also that Columbus himself was what was known as a "Converso" converted from Judaism. . With DNA testing now it is found that quite a number of people in the U S states close to Mexico show that the residents have Jewish ancestry.

I will try and find out more references where I read that.

When I was young and single, slugging it out fulltime in hot summers and freezing winters for the glory of Jah. I wrote some poetry for some of the gals. but most of them looked at me kind a wierd like. Jehovah's grunts don't do poetry. So I shut the muddafugger down. I have forgotten most of them and I never kept copies of them. Except one person who cared and still does, kept one or two.

Here is one of them:

Take me where the music is

The laughter and the singing

Lead me to the warmth, the light

The sound of laughter ringing.

Too long has ruled the silent gloom

Too long the darkness mouldy

Too long has frozen winter gripped

And icy winds blown coldly

As the moth seeks candle flame

The bee the taste of honey

Take me where the music is

To light and laughter sunny

Where you are, the music is

With you is heard the singing

With you, the color, the sound the light

Where joy of heart is springing

The taste of honey for the bee

For me the candle flaming

When frail wings of hope are burnt

I crawl away heart paining

I....crawl.....away.....heart paining.

What would WTS do if a KH with a loan didnt pay them back ?

what if the brothers and sisters at a cong ran into bad luck and couldnt afford to pay for a while.

Years ago, a struggling congregation in a small town in Quebe couldn't meet the payments. The WT sent an appraiser to estabilsh the value. They were ready to foreclose. Somehow the congregation dug themselves out of the hole.

Do you know of judicial committee cases about a bro/sis who denies to have sex with the confessing one?

i wanna know if you ever heard of judicial committee where an accused bro/sis denies to have sex with a confessing bro/sis.

It is a long time ago, but I seem to remember at Gilead school or some other instruction class the instructions were that if one party confessed or ut becane known, then that person was reprimanded with disfellowshiping or probation. If the second person denied it no action was taken because there was not two witnesses.

it wasn't until i read with disbelief no room for george's pitiful statement about being proud to be a jw did i start to think of a simple of way of discrediting the jws... it needed a simple scriptural phrase that causes them to shoot their own foot!.

so - how many different ways can you think of where jws have "gone beyond the things written"?.
