Lunatics
by Nat-Oz in.
man they are cunning little people - they make you drop everything that is good and normal in your life, make you turn against your family and friends, then build you up to think you are wonderful, then once you leave them, you are left in limbo with nothing for you either side of the fence.
i feel numb and really have no trust in anyone now.

Married to a JW, how do you handle teaching the kids?
by AlmostAtheist ini'm fading away from jw's, and i hope my dub wife will fade with me and we can teach our children to be free thinking humans, not mindless automatons.
but there is certainly the possibility that my "falling away" will spark something in my wife to make her take the jw religion more seriously and she'll wind up going the other way.
for all i know, she'll turn me in and get me disfellowshipped.. surely some of you are already in this situation.

by Logicandreason inhey r there any former jw/s that attended the kingdom hall in corona queens?
i was just curious, thats where my mother still goes.
i just wanted to see how many people i knew back then have come to the same conclusions that i have in the past ten years.

Hi
by Logicandreason ini am not a former jw, but my mother has been one for years and as you all know, that affected me as well.
i was raised catholic in a nice part of queens ny, and for the most part i never had a problem with my faith.
when i turned ten or so, my mother became entrenched in the jehova witnesses, and has not looked back since.
