Shave every day in the morning before work. When I used to go to the meetings, I would have to shave again. The big reason I quit going to meeting was so I wouldn't have to shave twice a day, otherwise I would still be taking in the fine spiritual food at the proper time despensed by the appointed slave class in this time of the end.
Damn, that still came out just as smooth as it used to - imagine that!

I found an ?apostate? Living Church of God site; evidently they are a sect of Armstrong. The site claimed that Armstrong got some of his ideas from the Adventist and Jehovah?s Witnesses, among others. I know that Armstrong had many ideas strongly resembling JW?s.
Very interesting. -

You should check out their web site. The similarities to WBTS is amazing.

I still think it might be the truth - what is wrong with me?
by slimboyfat inapostate literature - i have read the lot.
you name it - c of c, gentile times reconsidered, thirty tears a watchtower slave, the orwellian world of jehovah's witness, apocalypse delayed, and the freeminds and watchtower observer sites, so on and so on.
and i have been reading the posts on this site regularly pretty much since it started, and hourglass before it.

slimboyfat,
When you consider the views of Jehovah?s Witnesses, there is one authoritarian view - no other view is tolerated. You came here and found a plethora of views (sorry, a carry over from public talk days; but I find it happyfing). To be one of Jehovah?s Witnesses you have to believe everything - hook, line, and sinker. Do you believe everything? Are you satisfied with believing everything taught by Jehovah?s Witnesses without question? If so, go about with the meetings, service, and everything else and be content. However, if you are not satisfied, search for what fulfills you spiritually; that can only be done through careful personal study of the Bible.
You will not find your answer here. My guess is the same as others that you may be trolling. But, if not accept my apologies; but, once again you will not find what you appear to be asking for here. If you can?t find the answer to your questions within yourself, you need an authoritarian spiritual leader to make decisions for you and the Christian Congregation of Jehovah?s Witnesses is as good a group as any to take care of that position.
May peace be with you. -

Do kingdom halls tend to have few windows? If so why?
by Qcmbr ini was looking at some pics of khs and i remembered something i'd noticed while dusting my feet off outside a jw hall - very few windows.
is that a policy or was i just at the back of the building...?

On the Quick builds it saved time, on insurance it saved almost half the rate, on heat/cooling it lowered the BTU load, and in service it provided lots of openings to explain "no we do not do it keep people from seeing what goes on during the meetings" (wouldn't go out inviting people to the meetings all the time is we did dumb-ass)and "no, we do not sacrifice chickens during service by ripping their heads off (you dumb-ass idiot)" and "no we do not drink their blood afterwards (you ignorant bast**d)."

Losing faith in the organization
by parakete ini have been a jw for more than 20 years, but during these past few years i have come to realize that some of the elders and regular publishers are very hypocritical and insensitive.
they have done things that really disgust me.
tare so arrogant that they cannot take any criticism form you.

Do you hide apostate literature on your computer?
by JH in.
i was wondering how many here take special precautions, like deleting internet files and clearing your internet history, so that no one else may use your computer and find out that you're visiting apostate forums and reading apostate literature.. maybe some won't even put a jwd icon on their desktop, just incase a jw family member could see it.. .

No, I do not hide being here because I am not really here. This post never really happened.
