  for me, my life as a jehovah's witness was tiring, depressing & miserable.

  surrounded by negativity i felt utterly supressed & unhappy.

  to carry out my 'responsibilties' became very difficult.

  My life in the cult was very tiring. Always something to do as an elder … there was never enough time. To be an elder the way the cult demanded would take more than 24 hrs in a day. The publishers put you under the microscope and so did the cult leaders.
  
  They always said that to be in Bethel was the most demanding work. Try being an elder in the cult, have a full time job with its overtime and stress, and take care of family duties and see how much time and stress it takes.
  
  I really feel for those still in and despise those in charge!

  i took my mother a plate of food today, thanksgiving dinner.

  she won't cook it because it's, well, thanksgiving, but she was sitting there waiting for me to bring her a plate of turkey and dressing.

  both the increasing light on bible prophecy and the anarchy of this dying world cry out that the end of satans system is very, very near!

  a year or so ago they also said it was imminent....and in 1969 they swore it was just a few years away............so for a fds that claims godly direction...he sure has gotten them lost a bunch on this path to everlasting life....funny...not once did he do that to his org.

  I am a better person now that I am out of the highly mind controlled environment. Not that I ever was big into judging others, but judging everyone was there in some form.   in hassan's book " releasing the bonds " he states it as , " a persistent, irrational fear of an object or situation.

  all phobias are triggered by a cue that initiates a closed cycle of fearful images, thoughts, and feelings.

  MY PROJECT IS (FINALLY) FINISHED!

  for those of you who are interested, the project i've been working on for the last few months is finally finished.

  it seems that alot of us still have family members in the religion and have not infrequent arguments with them about some of the beliefs and practices.
