it, giving me strife like the kingdom hall is the place to be. when SHE WILL USE EVERY EXCUSE NOT TO BE AT the meetings, messing up my two 1/2 party at home or else where :).I hope most her family who are jw lurk on this board because you need to tell her about her self but I will encourage her to make the BS thursday night and I do mean BS. my handle: mindchild comes from computer scientist and futurist dr. hans moravec: who wrote the book, the future of robot and human intelligence which is a book about when we will be able to construct machines capable of human intelligence and raises the possibility of uploading ourselves (every thought we ever had) into an android body much superior to the human ones we have now.
i entertain the hope that not only will i live long enough to see this happen, i will transfer myself (the complete essence of what is me) into a body of my own choosing and become immortal if i so choose.

I agree with you beroea, but I could not wait. My family are
showing signs of slowing down and me and my wife have
talks about the organization and its questionable teachings
all the time. Its been a long time since we argued about the
wathchtower dogma. We discuss issues and I leave them for
her to think about she is her own woman her mother
stills go and most of her family is jehovah witnesses.
I don't want to play satan the watchtower may make me out
to be by arguing ,and don't want to be like the watchtower
in being a control freak.live and let live.Now if the blood issue comes up I better not see one jehovah witness put there two cents
in when it comes to my family life especally my kids.
Other then that, i'll watch them live forever on paradise on
earth all they want, since i was mislead to believe that also.

I remember reading this post before, it made me think on
how to be more balance with my family. Im an ex-dub and was
angry when I first left the borg. I read your post and
it calm me down alot as well as others who post here that help
me realize just to live my life no matter the circunstance and work
with it.my wife and kids still go to the meetings and I da'd myself
two years ago, but you know what ? we are closer now then ever
before that we as a household don't let the watchtower play apart
in our family happiness.TY for your food of thought well taken.
