  trouble for my friend

  i have posted many times about my jw friend, who still talks to me.

  for years we have maintained our friendship, because i have never been df'd or da'd.. she called me this morning to tell me that her husband is being called in for a meeting, by the elders, to discuss her association with me.

  we are wondering, now, if a lurker on this board has turned her in.

  Hi mulan, they really are a sick a BORG and we
  know there still kids mentally and spiritually
  not knowing any better.All of us hope those inside
  the borg will grow up on there own and show unconditional
  love like a true christian should. You never know this
  may be a rude awakening for your friend
  to realize just how controling the watchtower
  can really be. My wife for instance still goes to
  the hall but is upset that her own mother do not
  speak to me "as if I cared" any way my wife is in
  total disagreement with the shuning issue. she even
  went so far as too write the borg about the family shuning.
  My wife did not tell me she wrote the society so, she is
  thinking. Hopefully by the elders action it will get your friend
  to see the wt as a wolf in sheep clothing.

  Hello To All

  as you can tell, i am another newbie, so i thought i would introduce myself.

  i have been quietly reading the posts for some time now and thought it time to join in.. i am a 53 year old grandpa (neither daughter or their husbands are jw) married to jw woman with three kids, ages 15, 16, 17. therein lies the source of my discourgement and subsequent disassociation from the jws.

  i outlined my involvement with the jws in my profile, if any are interested.

  I also da'd myself my wife and kids still
  go i've been out for two years now. Im
  more happier then i've ever been since
  I left. My mother in law shuns me which
  is a blessing in disguise and my wife
  is not as zealous anymore and I let her
  carry on there paradise hope as others did with
  me until they see for themselves,LIke I seen for
  myself what the watchtower is made of which is tower of
  broken promises.In fact I joined a church today and replaced
  the conditional love I once had with the jehovah witnesses
  to unconditonal love with the NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH.
  ANYTHING CAN BE REPLACED BUT YOUR OWN LIFE LIVE SO LIVE
  IT AS YOU SEE FIT.Im also a free thinker, I don't debate with
  my jw wife like I use too, its a waste of time with people
  programmed as I once was not to listen to common sense or
  reason just let them live forever and watch.They will feel dum
  after awhile and this has worked for me just move on with your
  individual life and prove them wrong with your actions of not
  playing there satan the devil. Stay bigger then the watchtower
  and keep the family together if that's your desire.

  anyone ever have an experience where a elder or other brother would check around at your home to see who was visiting you??

  and then run to an elder about a vehilce - even if te person is not really there??.

  in law has not spoken to me in two years since i left
  the watchtower. Yes, me and my wife are still together
  with two beautiful kids. Why she can't speak to me ?
  please more examples, who shuns you in your family ?

  let's let the world see the examples of watchtower love in

  my wife has a meeting tonite and did not go.

  i came home and ask her about her meeting.

  her excuse "i had to take the kids to doctor for there check up".i mean she should schedule the kids appointments on non meetings night but she don't.her almighty mother meeting is on wednesday night, i asked her well she make it up tommorrow night at her mother meeting.

  hey people, i deliver home medical equipment.

  and one of my patients happens to be an almighty jw.

  anyway she finally worked up the nerve to witness to.

  anyway she finally worked up the nerve to witness to
  me today. She do not know after a # of visits im an
  an Almighty EX jw anyway she was so happy to see ME.
  she always requests me to service her at home. Today
  she was so happy studying her watchtower and had all
  her books out I knew she was coming for me today. She tried
  talking with me about there circuit assembly this past
  weekend which my wife attended on sunday only missed
  saturday for some odd reason and missed this past tuesday
  meeting "opps getting of the subject". any how, she was waiting
  for "me" she thinks im the nice potential JW to convert ?
  what do you think my response was ? and how would you
  respond ?
