"as to the old testament name of god, certainly the spelling and pronunciation "jehovah" were originally a blunder.

(the bible in living english, 1972, p.7, watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania) .

what's the deal?

So...anyone play 'America's Army'?

just wondering - new game out, developed by the us army.

it's based on the unreal tournament 2003 engine, so it looks pretty good.

decent gameplay, a lot of innovative features for shooters.. best of all, it's free.. wondering if anyone else has taken a shot at it yet?

Tried all that,I'm simply not that good
with such games,same goes for UT and Quake...

I did not pass this level,even after several tries...

I tried it but my sharpshooting skills were not good enough.

i knew a very nice person who was also very shy.she would sweat bullets just thinking about joining the tms or commenting at meetings.yet she was the sweetest person at the kh.she confided to someone she thought she could trust and was told she didn't have jehovah's spirit if she couldn't do these things that were required of her.also that she might not make it into the new world because romans 10;10 says clearly "public declaration by mouth means your salvation".i don't get it.god doesn't love shy people?but he created shy animals!

needless to say,this woman does not attend meetings anymore because she thinks there is no hope for her anyway.funny,i have never heard anyone in another religion say you were doomed because of shyness.

I was also shy and introverted ,not a good combination for a JW who has

to go door to door,or has to do public talks.

But the Borg has absolutely no consideration for these personalities...

theres got to be quite a few here who, like me are the only onbe to turn "apostate" in their family.. although you know you've done the right thing, all your family think either you have been mislead by satan or you have turned evil.. how do you feel around your family,and do you wonder what they think of you?

My family and I have reached a sort of
unspoken agreement:We do not ever discuss religious
matters anymore,I do not criticise them or
their WT borganization.They do not try to convert me
to their cult.
I see them only during work (We run a familybusiness)
and seldom at other occasions...
