  iPod Advice?

  hey all -

  so i got a free ipod when i bought my mac recently.

  i'm going to give it to a 12-yr old kid i worked with at the group home over the summer.

  That's a nice thing you're doing. I don't have an ipod but I do have a mac so I'd look at apple.com first and if their ipod section is no help, you can look for the topic or ask this question on their forum. I've found their forum to actually be very helpful and usually pretty fast.

  They're saying on the news I read and watched that this could change everything. A chuch is being held accountable not because their ministers commited the act but because one of their people didn't report it. It's a good step

  Just watch, soon Derrick will start whining about how some mean people on this board are picking on him for voicing his opinion.

  No doubt. And his thread will have tons of posts. I think it's sorta like a prisoner in Folsom, San Quinten or Riker's Island. Thay may not deserve fanfare but they get it nonetheless. Anyway- Yes, the sl website is down but it's supposed to be up soon.

  Emotional Baggage.............

  wifey and i left the dubland fantasy two years back, after a lifetime of that religion.

  we know we have made the right choice.. i thought i was over all the 'stages' of this exit.

  this past week i have been feeling great anger over the loss of my 'friends', and the great injustice of the 'shunning' policies.

  I'm sorry for what you're going through. Just...all I can say is don't go totally by the whole concept of "stages'" ....it could be a couple years from now that something comes up that sparks something. I'm not one to talk since I kept it all bottled up for some time...I'm just saying, if some feelings fall out of sink with the stages let em out. And don't say sorry.

  uh oh............ someone's cranky this morning?????

  Not really...

  No - just a few of us get sick of his type of judgmentalism when he lets his Watchtower lapel card be his badge of courage. He never defends what he says [of course how could he - the watchtower doesn't even try and defend it's nonsense much], he just hits and runs.

  Some of us respect what Bill Bowen has done to open up this matter of CM in the congs. People like defd would defend the Watchtower no matter what - 'my religion, right or wrong'.
