i'm not excited about everything...there was a family fight at thanksgiving that hasn't been totally resolved yet.

Good post and good to hear. I don't always enjoy the shopping but it depends on the day with me. It's your birthday? That shouldn't suck...just a double holiday. I'm going to have to remember it's your birthday. I understand not getting excited about birthdays but it's nice still to have some "happy birthdays" thrown your way, right?

i ended up being a professional golfer and teacher, one of the few hats i wear.
as a kid i lived for sports everything else was secondary, i love competition, in competition winning and losing is part of the game, it's a given.

Oh, I'm still going after it...I even get paid for it sometimes and what I studied for I get paid the rest of the time.
But I still want health insurance (wink)
I guess what I'm saying is that it's been a struggle and still is because I wasn't raised with the "be yourself" and the type of work I've gone into is not exactly steady. But it doesn't mean I think I'm a failure or anything.
I understand about what you mean though about the inner child...I guess when I was little I wanted to be a princess...or better at drawing than my older brother--I beat him! -

My first time being shunned in public
by xjwms inso thats what it feels like.. i am not df'ed or da'ed, ... i have just stopped going to meetings.
my wife is trying to be as active as she can.. so all morning i am out of my regular routine.
late getting out of bed and late about everything today.. so i leave the house, and before getting to the office, i decide to stop at the mall for a quick, maybe 15 min, walk.. as soon as i get inside, taking my coat off, here is the elder who did everything he could in his power to get me out...and lied...and added to gossip that ran me outta there.. he and his wife spot me .. and turn there heads away and continue on their walk, .. eyes fixed on some thing away from me.. so thats what it feels like.........now i know.
