  I don't know if this is the right place for but please someone help me out.

  Anyone here know much about Cat Psychology ??

  my wife and i have a new cat - a 7 month old blue smoke persian named olly (pedigree name is pannonius olympian).

  olympian he is too - weighing in at 5kg already !!.

  he's extremely timid, and hides pretty much constantly, meowing (squeaking now cos i think he's made his throat sore, poor mite).

  cats are weird. My mom took a tiny kitten in when I was 15. She wouldn't make a sound and didn't want to be touched. 16 years later the cat won't shut the hell up and constantly wants attention. A little while ago it looked like the cat was going to die (and was hiding in my mom's basement the whole time) but it turned out with medicine she has a while left. She's now a pain in the ass again when I'm at my mom's because she wants to be sitting on you and petted even though I'm allergic and not really a pet person. But she's elderly so I guess that's good.

  family fights on the holidays...

  anybody have any yesterday or in the past during holiday gatherings?.

  i kind of expect for there to be tensions with some people over the holidays because it can be stressful...but i also think that since my siblings and i didn't grow up celebrating anything that it adds an extra tension and can sometimes cause fights.

  any experiences?

  Another interlude

  in the course of my "life story" posts, the life stories of others have, or are, coming, to an end.. first, and foremost, the wife of my youth is now at her deathbed.

  she suffered many pains because of my own inabilities to relate to other people.. how i wish i could touch her hand and express my feelings to her...but the constraints of life prevent me from so doing.. i wish her nothing less than the best and safest and most painless passage to whatever that awaits her.. .

  and, don whiteman has died.. now that he has died, i will name his name.. he was an integral part of my bethel expectations.

  defd/derrick is a current-jw posting on this board.

  he's been on for quite some time now, maybe not a year, but awhile.

  many have tried to show him the many ways the watchtower doesn't live up to its claim of being god's organization, but he seems unflappable.. so where do you stand on him now?

  I could care less. He won't write my purposal for a doctorate program Im trying to get into and he continually calls me "mean"...even though he doesn't seem to think his past posts have anything to do with it.

  or last night i hung out with an old friend.

  she's always been strange to me.

  we don't really believe in the same things but i always thought of her as a good person that was still fun to be around (in small doses) even if we had disagreements.. i hadn't seen her in a year or so.

  golf- thing is I don't really think she's in love...otherwise she wouldn't have given him a deadline to get engaged. But to your question- she's in her late 20s. I'm 31. I remember being an idiot but never to the point of even stating I should be obedient to someone else. Anyway, like I said I'm throwing my hands up. There's nothing I can say to her that will change anything. She needs to up her paxil dosage.

  Movies!

  what i mean here is i found a group who were starting an indie theater here in town.

  i like movies and started to volunteer.

  i made friends with the staff and other volunteers as well as getting to know the locals.
