  my dad died

  dear everyone, my dad died suddenly and unexpectedly at the weekend.he did'nt turn up for a family dinner and my husband and i went to see if he was ok.he was dead.collapsed in his home.i can't stop shaking and i feel really sick.i've lost my mum and now my dad too.i wish i could sleep for months and wake when the pain has finished with me.

  it hurts so much .sorry to bring everyone down-but i'm stressed at having to sort out his arrangements due to the autopsy and funeral etc and the house and my feelings.

  ; i just wanted to tell you all as my husband's gone for a walk and the children are asleep and i'm feeling scared about viewing his body, but i know i'll have to and i feel guilty for feeling like that.stupid thoughts racing through my mind at the moment-need to 'hear' a friendly voice .

  Did you keep "satanic" LP's as a JW?

  i kept all my iron maiden records 'cos they weren't satanic in my opinion and the music was just too good to be thrown out.

  anyone else keep records that would have been deemed "satanic"?

  Glad you got a kick out of that! Made me laugh when he first told me about it too. On the whole his parents were pretty cool for dubs. They let the kids go to school dances, attend school functions and they even went to see R rated movies which my straight laced family found QUITE scandalous! hahaha. Gee wonder why I hung around their house so much?

  LOL!

  My husband used to have all of Ozzies and Black Sabbath's albums when he was a dub teenager. One time, one of his records got warped so he took these two heavy pieces of glass and sandwiched the record between them. He then put a heat lamp over it and left it and forgot about it. He came back several hours later and the glass had heated to the point where it exploded and sent shards of glass flying all over the room. They were sticking out of the ceiling and walls. Yikes! Well his parents thought this was a sign that the deemunz was comin' so they made him get rid of all of them BWAHAHAHA! ugh. Noooo! just a stupid thing to do is all.

  i've been enjoying scanning bits and pieces of ruth's old 'tower magazines.

  many of us will have old copies of the literature lying around, so why not scan something that's particularly meaningful to you?

  Great pics everyone :) We have a "Ralph" He's a collie mix and a real sweetheart (Unless he doesn't know you then he may have to tear you a new butt LOL) Great watch dog and great with the kids.
