Stephen and I sat here and read your post with tears in our eyes. All we can say is how much we love ya and wish you were here to give you a big hug. I know how those home videos can come up and hit you like a ton of bricks. I'll catch one with daddy on it. One that I'd forgotten he was on, and it's so gut wrenching.
You are honestly one of the kindest, sweetest people I've ever known. There are so many that will benefit from this post, and from Dak's story. I know it must have took a lot of courage to write it all down.

I always wondered what would prevent someone from getting their head chopped off in an accident Would Jehoober protect everyone at all times from tremendous horrific accidents? Would the headless body sprout a new head? Enquiring minds want to know To me that made the concept of a perfect earth with 'perfect people' seem completely silly.

by Tired of the Hypocrisy ini have a friend who has been at beth-hell since early in 1971. he is arthritic and went one time too many to the infirmary and finds himself with no job, no education, and no benefits after nearly 40 years working his butt off at brooklyn then at patterson.....please help me spread this video around.. thanks kids!.

No Girls Scout Cookies for you!
by independent_tre ineven though, i was raised in a witness home, i never remember hearing that girl scout cookies were a no-no.
and even though i've only been baptized for a few years, i don't remember any specific admonishment of these sweet treats.
but recently at work a jdub coworker made it a point to remind me that jw's do not buy or eat girl scout cookies.

Thin mintsWe always bought them when I was growing up, but always felt a tad bit naughty for doing so, almost like we were getting away with something. Girl scouts and boy scouts were always frowned upon in our congregation, it was definately not something we could have participated in.
