The WT Society does not give permission to distribute its recordings, so to comply with copyright laws we have removed the kingdom songs from the music selection.

Is it just me, or if the message of these *last days* was so all fired imporatant wouldn't the WTBTS would be doing everything in their power, using every available method to get the *Good news* to people everywhere, including the ability to hear their beee-u-tee-ful songs <gag> free of charge on the internet?

What Caused Your First Doubt ?

for me it was when i was about twelve years old and my best friends dad was disfellowshipped from the congregation.. i could not understand how a god of love would treat someone so coldly.. i used to think what if that was the way my parents would treat me if i had done something wrong, that would be so hard and cruel.. as i got older another thing that bothered me was the beard issue.

it may sound pretty trivial however the society has always refused to make a good arguement as to why they would give you the old cold shoulder if you were to grow one.. two more items; first i could not understand why all the congregations and all the assemblys would give income reports.

and the society never did.

I was about 14 and my mother who was having doubts about the witnesses herself said to me (I was still attending the meetings, while at this time she had stopped)How do you KNOW that the witnesses have The truth? And that was the first time in my life anyone had ever made me stop and think about it. I continued to be a witness for many years to come, but this one simple sentence (For which I will be eternally grateful) Really gave me a new perspective on every thing that was said, and from that point forward I stopped to THINK about what I heard, instead of just accepting it as *gospel* Thanks mom {{{hugs}}} Of course she probably won't ever read this as she is now back in the mindset that the JWs are *The Truth*

Stillborn

december 1966 my wife had a stillborn son.

had he lived, he would now be 34 years old.

our circuit overseer at the time expressed his sympathy, but added the consoling words: "look on it as a blessing.".

Excellent point yeru! So true. Just another example of the towers illogocal reasoning. If that like in the womb is as precious to Jehovah as one outside the womb then that life would indeed be just as worthy of resurrection as any other that had been lost. The spirit must be given at the time of conception one would think? Ahhh now I'm gettin' all phil-E-saw-fi-Kul...sure does make you think though. Which is more than we were allowed to do as a dub.

Amen brother Farkel!! That is indeed the number one reason I have seen small children cover their ears in horror as the congregation attempted to hit the high notes of some of those songs. That kind of abuse CANNOT be tolerated any longer. Very painful.
