the watchtower is remaining bi monthly.

instead of both monthly offerings sharing same formats there is a change coming into action soon.

let's piece together the history of the gb of the jws to better understand its nature.

i start by mentioning that russell started it all by investing a lot of his money to set up the wts therefore inevitably he must have seen it as his own property, if he put in the money he should also have control over it.

then other people became investors by buying shares.

It's possible that Russell invested his own money...but then it's also possible that others invested money...quite possibly a good deal more than Russell. And as time went on, more and more money was invested until the a-borg-ination we have today was firmly established. Remember...in those days following the money was harder to do than nowadays. And don't forget...a person can claim to have started something using his own money when in reality it was the money of others. We see examples of this even today. For instance, when a chef is interviewed about his restaurant, he may say "I started the restaurant 2 years ago and it's been a success since day one!" But what about his hidden silent partners who actually bankrolled the endeavor? Why aren't they mentioned by the chef? Because they don't want to be mentioned. Do you think they don't have control of the restaurant because they're not mentioned?

more about cars and n.y.c.. back then hundreds of cars were stolen, in the city everyday!

the new york post said "the average life span of a corvette (sports car) parked on the street was 24 hours!

"...........one time coming back from r.i at 2:00 a.m. i took a wrong turn in the south bronxs.........not a place you would want to be in, that time of night............as i was driving around trying to find my way back to the express way, i could see the sparks form the cuting torches, people cuting up the cars they stolen the day before..........i was praying "please god get me out of here".

WTBTS money making for who?

there is a lot of talk on here about the wtbts a money making organisation.. maybe, but who is this money going to?.

like a friend "in the truth" lol said, it's all put back into the work.

and who would want to be a missionary, they don't get any money out of the society etc etc.. so who reap the rewards here then?

Don't worry about your inheritance. When the time is right just go and loot those godam kingdom halls and then burn them down.

There is no ark of the covenant or Shroud of Turin or bejeweled icon in a kingdumb hall. Just a paper trail of BS and lies. Sorry, nuthin' worth looting there.

well it is 4:00 a.m. in the morning and i can't sleep, so might has well write.. everything at bethel is seniority........"how long have you been here?

" if you wanted a better room you need some seniority, rooms would go up on a bid system.

if you were a new boy, and all your friends were new boys, it could be a year or two before you got a decent room and 10 years to get a room with its own bathroom, pre towers days.

Shouldn't the Watchtower be telling Prince they don't approve of football with its competition and animal names and that instead of preforming he should be out peddling their books and magazines? Isn't that what they tell everyone else?

Yeah, but maybe to the WT he's a "prince" of the earth.
