  The December 1st 1916 issue of The Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence contains Russell's biography. Evidently this minister didn't do his homework....guess I won't be buying HIS book.

  has anyone else ever noticed that there is no watchtower in scripture as part of any particular teaching but there is prominent use of watchtower in dungeons and dragons type games and forms of witchcraft including spells involving watchtower?

  the jw's will say that in jesus time, it was ok to have a beard because it was their custom back then, and today jw's should not have a beard because it's not our custom to have one today.. since the world is ever changing, it will continue changing, and beards might come back and be popular once more.. it's only a cheap excuse on their part, because they will never accept beards, even if every man wore one today..

  It is the fact that I was raised in a Religion that never told me of its origins and when I was offered to become a Mason I chose not to as I thought it would be incompatible with Christainity.

  she got remarried saturday to one of "our" old jehovah's witness friends jay .

  jay's wife, judy died 6 months ago of cancer.
