It didn't collapse from the top. If you watch the replay, it might look like that to you because the top was on fire and as it collapsed from the bottom, the fire and smoke from the plane explosion carried down as the building sank into it's foundation.

All good theories. But when examining the damage to the basement of the WTC from the last terrorist attack, and seeing that it handled it without too much difficulty, and also, taking into account an experts comments on a radio program that I listened to, well I don't think so.
The expert commented that he was warning the US Government for years that an attempt would be made, and being an expert in demolition of this sort, he went on to explain the ins and outs.
Basically, the WTC could not have been brought down except by a controlled explosion from beneath, as was tried last time.
The expert went on that, had the terrorists placed the explosives slightly differently, the WTC would have come down last time.
So, after watching the south tower come down LIVE on television, when the damage was up top, and the fire was minimal, I am not buying the "plane knocked down the building" stuff. AND NOT BOTH TOWERS!

One thing is sure, the buildings did not come down as a result of the planes hitting them or any explosions due to that. Even the attempt to bring down a tower a few years ago proved unsuccessful and there was one hell of a lot more power in that blast. The action necessary to bring down the towers had to be at the base and had to be planned just right.
The terrorists would never have been able to get that much explosives into place under normal circumstances.
I believe that fake ambulances showed up prior to the real ones and were waved on through by security, whose guard was down due to circumstance.

For those that wanted 'research'... I am contacting the STAR tomorrow to speak to the reporter who did the piece. I want to find out exactly what he/she knows or doesn't know and the basis for the new rules.
I have spoken to the STAR before and they were suirprisingly ignorant, but very interested in what's transpiring with regard to the Watchtower organization.
As for what used to be the common practice, the elder, and I have been directly involved in this, goes to the hospital and there is a special room marked CLERGY. He gets into this room and gets a anme badge from the hospital that says CLERGY on it. He places it on his lapel and goes to the front desk. He askes for the list of admissions and scans top to bottom looking for JWs.
When he finds one, he's off to the elevator. He does an initial take on the situation and if he deems it necessary, contacts the medical leaison comittee member(s)
From there, the HLC member gets their nose into the patients business. They speak with the JW and intimidate them into telling the doctor(s) that they, the HLC member, should be a go-between, and thus ends up in full control of the medicine administered.
Tomorrow the STAR.

It amazes me how little people care for the important stuff.
When the 'site idiots' post nonsense that has no meaning for anything, folkes flock to it. But when something very impportant happens that will have a profound effect on the workings of the WTBTS, nobody is interested.
I bet that a week after the WTBTS is crushed, this board will still be going strong. Youknow and Fredhall will still be posting garbage. People will still be name calling. And the posters will still be posting irrelevant information about nothing.

Do Not Call List

an ex-jw in the uk has come up with a brainwave!!.
he canvassed his local area and came up with a signed list of several thousand householders who did not wish to be called on again by jehovahs witnesses.. this list was then handed to the local congregations and the london bethel who were then obliged to list all those households as do not calls.. has anyone else tried this?

It's not in BOE letters. It's in case law.
I have been doing this by mail and I am about to expand. I also go out in service just to see how it goes. The list on the backs of many territory cards is getting long. It's also making the dubs question what's going on.

I staretd this about 2 years ago and my approach was and is as mentioned here. Telling people that the frequency of visits will increase as JW's have a monthly quota for hours really makes them not want to be the last person on their street to get their house listed on the DNC list.
LOL
