  Help!! I am extremely confused.

  i'm at a definite crossroad in my life right now and i don't know which direction to turn.. for my entire life i've been taught to believe in one thing but now i'm seeing things that i never knew where there before.

  i find it very disturbing that there has been so many predictions the wts has made in the past that failed to come true.

  also the bouncing back and forth on certain doctrines make me question my beliefs.. but on the other hand i can't ignore things like the fact the organization is growing while other religions are on the decline.

  As far as the Organization growing... the Mormons have and ARE growing faster.

  MAJOR MAJOR UN/WTS NEWS - PART 2 - BREAKING HARD

  flash - major breaking!!!!!!!.

  i just talked to paul hoeffel 1:35pm - he phoned me.. okay people.

  i can now confirm that the watchtower has provided a letter in writing to dpi indicating that the wts has "disassociated" themselves from dpi - ie the wts has made it offical that they have quit.. i can also confirm that the wts has been updating dpi regularily as they are suppose to over the last 10 years.. i can also can say that something is in the works that i can disclose by hopeflly tomorrow.

  Thanks for all the support, but as far as thanks go, thanks belong all around. Except for the 'olhippie' types that is.

  I would have to agree that the WTS is "on the run" as some suggest. You can even see the effect on a local level. Elder activities 'n such. The CO is going like a madman. So many elders meeting about ..... hmmmm let's guess.

  As far as marriage breakup, there have been three in the past two weeks here. That's more than one per week. Seems coincedental.

  WORF... haven't heard from you in a long time. You say your marriage went down the tube. Email me, we will chat.

  Why do people post stuff like this?

  Why couldn't Biblexaminer just have asked the questions he liked to ask, in stead of mixing in all that bullshit along with it? Why not do like others I know have done, namely write a letter to the Watchtower asking about it? Why lying about facing divorces, loss of house, friends etc.? Letters never hurt if you write them to find the answers.

  Does this guy think that he knows all things? What were the "questions he liked to ask" Can he tell me these? And can he explain how it is that he knows that I didn't ask these questions?

  And "mixing in all that bullshit"... what kind of idiot is this guy? If he's such a judge and scholar as he portrays himself to be, I would ask him Why did'st thou not call and express thyself?

  "write a letter to the Watchtower asking about it? ...feel free oldhippo dude. See what you get, O wise one.

  And of course the pinacle of heartless stupididty "Why lying about facing divorces, loss of house, friends etc.?

  I am a current JW, mr old lippy. I serve in one of the many congregations in Canada. I am not lying, and I DO NOT have to explain myself to idiots! And if you can't understand that what I told Paul at the UN was the truth, then you are PART of the problem as you fail to understand WHY we are all working so hard at this.

  The UN doesn't care. That point was made well by Mr. XXXXX in our conversation. So there's nothing to be gained.

  The only thing left for us is to make good use of 1) the letter he will issue to us, and 2) the internet.

  The media wouldn't hurt either.

  Can we use "Freedom of Information" laws??? Well... let's get what the UN-NGO chief is willing to offer free first. Then, after we will see if there is any room for legal manouvering.
