29 Long before 1914, the Bible Students said that a time of trouble would begin in that marked year. But even they could not have imagined how accurate that prediction would turn out to be.
33 Unfulfilled expectations were another test. Though the Watch Tower had rightly pointed to 1914 as the year when the Gentile Times would end, the brothers did not yet understand what would take place in that year.
Ok. The first point is, when using the actual paper publication, paragraph 29 is on the top left and paragraph 33 is top right. So you can see both points without turning the page. Simultaneously. So there is no excuse.
Par. 29 makes the point that they were "accurate" in their "prediction". So, obviously, 'they knew it all'. Yep. Brilliant people those. So well did these ones knew the future, that they could publicly tell out a "PREDICTION".
(Note that the book says they made a "prediction", something Jehovah's witnesses say they don't do when defending their failed predictions.)
But according to paragraph 33, a few paragraphs later, these oracles 'hadn't a clue' what the hell was going to transpire in1914.

The elders in this area are getting burned out. I have overheard comments that demonstrate this, but in my dealings with them, I clearly see it. They are getting 'used up'. They can't keep it straight. They have so many letters and rules and policies that they are getting confused and forgetting everything. They don't seem to know which end is up anymore.
I had one elder here issuing instructions as per a recent letter, and then later inquiring about the same policies that he himself was responsible for disseminating information about. He asked about it, after he himself did the groundwork a month ago, then tells me "it's the first I've heard about it"... whoa!
I was aghast.
Another elder couldn't do the closing prayer. He said "I'm not prepared... I have to prepare". Damn, I thought, the meeting is not even started and it's the closing prayer, and you can't freaking do it 'cause you're 'not prepared ' ... WTH.
The COBE is burnt. You can see him slowly losing it and his wife was telling other sisters about how he is burnt.
Another elder was required do do something simple ...and openly, in front of the Congo, made a 'disgusted face' and refused. Same elder, emailed me about an issue, I emailed him back. In his next reply, he contradicted himself in the same response. I thought, 'bro... you gotta look better at your lies before you hit SEND'. WTH
Its a weekly thing. Everyday a new surprise. But all pointing to the same conclusion, elders getting burnt out. Too many balls to juggle.

I have been convinced for some time that the mighty org is under liquidation, and the money is going to the pockets of the initial investors. The 3P (Third Party)
Now, I do not propose to know who 3P is. And I have no proof they exist. But I do believe they indeed exist and I can speculate on their identity. I can also speculate on the timing of the fire sale.
In the way of setting the stage for good speculation, ponder the timing of the child abuse scandal. One could ask "why now?" The answer, although speculation, would seem to be simple. In fact, the question could equally be "why NOT now?"
Those molested, were molested as children and those kids are growing up now. It's now that they are becoming aware of what has really happened to them and the gravity of their pain. And it is now that they are becoming emboldened to speak up.
I speculate that Zion's Watchtower found friends in suffering during WWII. Zionists.
I propose these Jews funded/invested in WTBTS because of the suffering based friendships born out of WWII and the desire to make money. I further speculate that the original generation prospered through their investment in WTBTS and that now they are dying off, their offspring taking the reins. These offspring feel no partnership as did their now deceased parents and they want to liquidate their investment. Possibly they see the 'handwriting on the wall' as the pedophile emerge from the dark corners into the light.
I could be blowing smoke up everyone'a ass. It would make for a hell of a movie though.

A better way to ask questions - Anybody remember "Amazing"?

when i first joined this forum, i remember being so impressed by the way he got his family out.
instead of knocking the organization head-on, he would ask questions that can't be answered during his family study, such as, "how would you answer someone if they said we were false prophets?

My wife and I asked a pair of elders, at the service group, how we reconcile not taking blood with taking fractions of blood and not donating. These supposed pillars of the congregation began shaking out of fear. Not exaggerating.... literally shaking. They wanted to get out of there so fast...

Yep, and here in Canada, where it takes 13 Canadians to equal 10 Americans, the price is about $13 (factor in the BOC exchange rate 1.334)
They take the attendance in the morning and meet with the elders at lunch break.
Suddenly, the "expenses" for the convention happen to work out, consistently, according to this formula.
E = AP where E is expenses, A is attendance and P is price per head.
