It was the old Chevy truck in Jeepers Creepers that scared the bejezus out of me. Used to work 2nd shift and would be coming home on the I system at 11PM w/a lot of semis on the road. I'd see their headlights in my rearview mirror and get this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach.
The Shining was excellent too.

I was never a frequent movie watcher until I was living w/a friend who was. We watched a lot of horror movies together. I wish I could remember the titles. One that I do remember that was good was:

Another one that was really scary was about this old truck that kept following people and plowing into them. Sorry, can't remember the title.

One has to be at peace and confident with oneself before there can be happiness with another. A person cannot be needy going into a relationship; they must be strong. Only then will a person know if this new relationship is right for them or not.

i need advice specially from those wise women and men from this forum, who has been in a relationship for long time.
here is my situation, i am dating a guy for 4 months now and everything was going smooth, but since a month ago , he is been going out with some friends.... my boyfriend only has 2 full days off during the month , every other sunday, last day off he went all day with his friends to the beach and i was ok with that, but today he is calling me to ask me if i am ok with him going with his friends again all day to the beach.
we dont go out that much and maybe we go out one time a week and is for dinner or something like that, i dont think of myself as clingy but i dont like this pattern...... should i break up?
Just wanted to add this:
Sounds to me like he wants a relationship/companionship when HE wants it. We all need our own space and have our personal close friends which in healthy relationships should be honored by both people. But, if one person starts wanting to be by himself/herself A LOT or having minimal conversation or little affection shown... basically living a single life once again or wanting to spend a lot of time doing things w/only his/her friends...... then it is time to let go.
If he can't "man up" and talk to you straight about what he wants, then move on. Also, look for actions; not just good talk.
Let me also make a correction with my last post:

After contemplating on information being said here, go with your gut. If something doesn't feel right in the relationship; it isn't. A relationship does go through different stages. The only way it will work is if both people respect the other. Neither should give more than they are getting.
Have a face to face with him - IF HE WILL COMMUNICATE. If he doesn't want to talk, starts blaming you/or others for why he acts a certain way, or gives excuses that are just cop outs, don't waste more time with him. The longer you stay to try to figure him out, the harder it is to leave.
Remember this: When you're with a loser; you miss opportunities with those who do respect you. The best to you!

One of these dear ones I remember was Dansk from England. He and his wife (Physio) were wonderful, kind hearted people. His encouragement and sound advice was always appreciated by many. Dansk passed away after a very long illness. I was going through very hard times during my separation and he always encouraged me to "hang in there". His words were kind and timely. Thank you Dansk. And love to your beautiful family.

I feel the "something deep inside of us" you mentioned Sylvia is our spiritual need which will continue to be fulfilled on a personal basis - without belonging to an organized religion. Religion and spirituality are two different issues I feel.
The need for religion with its manmade proscribed set of rules and rituals will fall by the wayside completely in time I feel. It will have served its purpose. With knowledge one lets go of superstitions.
i can remember when i was first assimilated, the jw's did alot together, they went to the park together, they had picnics, days out together.. .
somehow by the 90's this had stopped.

Reading that stuff gives me a case of the hives....
We used to have a lot of good times (picnics, ballgames, etc.) in the '70s and early '80s until mother's iron hand slapped us all down. The WT organization decides their directives for everyone over isolated events and assumes that by tightening the thumb screws it will stop "uncleanness". The fact is that those who do not have personal moral integrity - no matter the rules - will keep on doing what they want while everyone else sacrifices. I know my kids certainly missed the cong. get togethers. Hopefully you were invited to others' homes for get togethers otherwise you were screwed socially.
