we've been an encouragement to each other and this has truly been a blessing.

I won't go into detail as this would betray our trust for one another. Suffice it to say, to clarify a little, we didn't belong to the same congregation, but we knew common people between the cong. I was attending and the one Obiwan was attending. Knew common elders, old friends, young people. As you know, when you leave the org. you have few if any friends left. It is a blessing to be able to talk to someone who truly can empathize with you about various similar problems one has w/the organization and in your personal life w/your kids, etc.
We respect each other's feelings and beliefs. Like I said before it has been a true blessing. We have never met face to face and ironically we don't live that far apart.
No titillation here, Sparkplug! We share a deeply felt friendship and connection because of what we went through as Witnesses. That is all I want to say out of my commitment to being trustworthy and honorable.

We "met" at this site and found out that we know a lot of the same people, in fact, I knew Obiwan's first wife back in the 70's. I truly value our friendship and the laughter we share and the trust.

she calls quite a bit early in the morning to chat, always says to say hi to my husband and children who are not baptized.

hey my dad is going to trade my gmc 2004 single cab black truck for a new ford mustang but i dont really want that because it will be expensive.
if i had it my way i wouldve bought the 1991 honda crx this chick at work was selling for 800 bucks.
so instead of the mustang i want to trade in for a new or used honda civic.
Excellent advice about the insurance since you are 18. Rates will be high for a Mustang. Research each option and then you can minimize your costs. juni

One of my return visits was on a Scientologist. He brought out their book. I can't remember details as it has been so long ago, but it amazed me at the time how quite a few of JW beliefs and Scientology beliefs are similar. Very odd.

Yeah? Who's paying? If you are having Dad co-sign for your loan you might want to think twice about a new car. That's quite a burden for quite a few years and I'm sure you'll have other things coming up that you'll need or want to do. I can't say enough about the Mustang. I own a '95 Mustang GT convertible, 5.0. The car has 72,000 miles on it; it has regular oil changes every 2000 miles. My son just bought a used '95 and loves his too. They do hold their value. I don't know about the new Mustangs and their record on dependability.
You'll have to do your research. My advice whatever you do is be satisfied w/YOUR DECISION. Another thing: sometimes you can buy a "cheap" car, but it turns out to be a money pit. I would want to see records of oil changes and maintenance from the seller or dealer.
