THE ROBIN (England's national bird)
I thought Jordan was englands national "bird"

I know ...i'm vile
this is actually something that fascinates me and i'd like your own opinions on the subject.
i list here things i feel are quintessentially english (with apologies to the scots, welsh and irish as they have their own uniqueness).. first of all, it's got to be a cup of tea (yes, i know it wasn't originally made here, but it has become an integral part of 'englishness').. cup of tea.

hi everyone!
was there ever an issue as to whether you were / weren't allowed to wear shoes at a group book study in someones house , so everyone had to dump their shoes at the door?.
But manners are different all over the world.
In the Uk its concidered rude to leave anything on your plate after a meal that someones cooked for you, in the Arab world its considered rude not to leave something.
Neithers right or wrong, its just the way we are.

Maybe if the Scots got into a major football tournament then they might behave the same way as the English supporters and wind up the "foreigners". But we may never know. . .
See!

in another thread the question of a person's memories being placed within a re-created body has been discussed.
the possibility was raised that what if two bodies were created, and the person's memories were placed in both bodies?
which re-created person would be the continuation of the original person?.
when i talk of empty vessels i meant empty as far as personality goes.
if god just "tossed" out the "corrupt" dna, then we could not still be humans, since humans are in the end, made of cells.
I see biblical imperfection as a kind of genetic mutation. Human beings have messed up corrupt dna that stops them from being perfect. Take someone with a genetic illness, that person is still a human being even if their dna isn't 100%, if you could chuck out the corrupt mutated dna you'd get your "normal" human being wouldn't you.

Ok so if you were possessed by a spirit you would no longer be human?
You'd still have human genes, you'd still be an expession of those human genes.

Controversial here but what about the way the English treat international football as extra time for wars that ended decades / centuries ago
England / Scotland / German / France / Argentinian games really bring out the xenophobia in English supporters
