  I think stories like this make JWD appear sensationalistic and cheap. It doesn't matter if that 80 year old grandfather is a Witness. a Baptist,a Catholic, or whatever religion. This old guy needs help, not condemnation. Shame on you.

  when i was "in" the borg ( i love that word) i really , really believed that when ppl left it, they became like the undead.

  with no direction in life and no religion, i felt sorry for them.. i never thought that they became ............born again or heaven forbid catholic !!!!!!.

  when i first started looking at sites on the internet i came across www.jwinfoline.com what an eye opener !

  i have been reading wt quotes etc, but i have not seen this issue raised.

  i dont have a big box of awakes to search through, but i distinctly remember the cover of an awake with a picture of the globe and factories producing smog.

  well the mag was about pollution; the core message/prophecy was that the world will mot be survivable in 10 -12 years so we can expect god to step in the next few years.

  This is just another example of how the WTS uses current events and national concerns to "sell" their ideas. In the post 60's era of enlightenment as to the world's problems, ie: pollution on a global scale, the WTS took this particular subject and worked it into the psyche of those that were" studying." Just one of many.

  I hope that those of you who are still " In The Truth" will do some research about the WTS . . .your life depends on it.

  Stew meat - room temp - 12 hours - is it safe? Your opinion wanted...

  so stew meat was taken out last evening at approx 6:30pm and was left out until 7 am.

  it was laid face down on the metal stove so it thawed fairly quickly, leaving it at room temp for many hours.

  so at 7am this morning, it was put in the refridgerator and then at 9:30am taken out to be cooked for a stew.. .

  i don't know if something is wrong with me or with entire setup of things.

  i mean every time i think about wtbs i get angry and frustrated which is beyond the reason.

  and most interesting part is i'm not getting any better, looks like i'm going nuts every time somebody mention anything even remotely related to wtbs.

  I don't know if I'm obsessed with the WTS and the damage they have done to families everywhere, however, the fact that they have done this for so very long and have become extremely wealthy over the years, at the expense of others, crosses my mind daily.
