I'd have to say Malcolm X. I've never heard of anyone else who's life has life has been an inspiration to so many ppl. I think his story is the defintion of the complete American experience.

I think this is probably representative of an inner struggle at headquarters between moderates and hardliners in the various departments resposible for writing, teaching and doctrine. I think that's the only logical explanation for the constant flip-flopping and contradictory messages. Sure is confusing enough though.

Not very deep, sir. As a native New Orleanian, I'm ashamed. I grew up in the neighborhood on the site of Storyville, the place where Jazz supposedly was invented. I am currently in the process of familiarizing myself with the artform. Coltrane stands out to me. His playing has a mystic pull that draws you. I do have a Coltrane and Davis callabo, called Straight No Chaser. I dig it.
I have 'A Love Supreme', and it is. Bought my first copy in LP as a nipper and have it still. Very collectable these days.

Our house fire

i do not usually post stuff about my life at home, but i am in the mood to tell you this one.
yesterday, a big truck came by our house, which created a vibration in our house, which caused a plastic spice jar to fall off of the top of the stove on to a hot burner, which caused the plastic to get set on fire, which melted and destroyed the plastic panel on the stove.
