Hello Dozy! Are you and active witness? If so maybe you could video tape your Elders visits for us when they find your posting on a message boards with us, "The Evil Slave Class" and come to DF you. If you think he came across a little harsh as I did, maybe your video will be a little kinder to the viewers.
Do you think he still should have been DFED even though he hasnt denounced Christ but only the WT? Or do you feel the WT is Christ? Please explain and welcome to the board!

Because what I said was "I think he came across as bitter and a jerk to them" Maybe they deserved it, I dont know the whole situation. Maybe they never knocked on his door before this video and maybe he never got the letters they sent. Maybe they never tried to call him. If they didnt, they were supposed to. 3 letters are for those who refuse to answer the door or phone. My opinion is still that he came across as bitter and ended it by making an issue out of shaking the Elders hand. I can understand why he may not have felt like it but to anyone non JW watching I think he will come across in a negative light. Without a mountain of explaining they would never see the evil behind the dFing policy by watching this video. I worked shift work tonight and while on shift I showed the video to my workmate who knows Ive walked away from the witnesses. He knows they disfellowship people and is curious to find out what will happen with me.
I told him to watch the video and tell me what he gets out of it. At the half way point he says " man this guy is a jerk" I said, "which one" He said, "the guy filming" Then I said "just finish watching". At the
end he said "no wonder they kicked that guy out, hes a big jerk!"
I think most who dont really understand how destructful the dfing practices are will view it like this man did. By the way he is 53 and very educated.
I assure you, that just because I dont agree with you exactly Wed. that I am not paying any homage to them and I am not under any mind control. It is ok on this board to have a different opinion isnt it?
Or do we all have to think the same now? Am I going to be disfellowshipped from the boards for seeing something different? It seems that most leave the witnesses because they want freedom of thought, but still blast others when they dont agree with them.

This isnt groundbreaking at all. If it did ever get back to the WT the most they would do is create a new policy regarding recording devices and what you should do if you know your being recorded. They will NOT be removed as Elders and this will not create a revolution within the society that will change the practice. In there minds its scriptural and its also another sign they have the truth. Its all about keeping the congregation clean. I agree with the poster that said " he may show up at an apostafest next week" You never know when someone is doubting already. This maybe the last DFING he's involved with. It was obvious that he was uncomfortable with the whole situation. Im sure just because he was having a hard time reading with the low light situation that it doesnt mean he's not qualified or a good speaker. I believe he probably hates DFING people like a few of the Elders I know and he probably really was having a hard time seeing. Even if he's a slow reader it doesnt deem him a moron or uncapable or unqualified. Some people just read slower than others. In my opinion It is a good video to show that Dfing is a real practice that is being carried out among the high control group known as JW's. The question of there decision being spirit directed was also good to have caught on tape. Im just afraid to many are attacking them individually and not the WT specifically. They are only puppets who may walk away one day.

I was just giving my opinion only. These guys didnt invent the watchtower rules, they are only doing what they are programmed to do. When I see Mormons, Moonies or any people trapted in cults out doing what they do publicly, airports, college ect. I simply cant help but feel sorry for them. When they come to my house
I dont attack them or try to make them look foolish, I try a different approach and try to kill them with kindness and reasoning. I really enjoyed steve hussans book "Combating cult mind control". This is the approach he takes when trying to deprogram someone trapted in a cult. It was only my opinion and should be taken as such. We can all believe different here:) -

maybe, I just feel bad for all people stuck under there mind control. The younger Elder was probably born into the religion just like I was and has never known any different. Obviously, I dont know all the circumstances. Maybe those particular Elders really did do him wrong. Either way I think its sad more than

My honest opinion is that you came across as bitter, a complete jerk, and a liar, because they know you got the letters. I felt bad for the Elder that was doing the talking. He is trapted in a cult and he is only doing what he knows Jehovah wants him to. Sure, he stuttered and read slow, the lighting was bad and he was being put on the spot with a camera in his face. Trying to make them look foolish on film is only going to make them feel persecuted which means they have the truth. I had the same thing happen to me 3 weeks ago and I handled it quickly and with confidence. I showed them respect and told them that I loved them both, because I do. Just remember they are brainwashed and only doing what they are programmed to do. I think you came across as a complete asshole.

Well, Im an internet movie pirate and I downloaded it and tried to watch it. Of course I knew what it was about in advance. Im not homophobic, but I turned it off not long after the sex scene. It grossed me out, plain and simple. If two guys want to be together, then more power to em. I just dont want to watch it because it makes my stomach turn. It seems to me that society is turning against everyone that doesnt like the idea of same sex relationships. All of a sudden, your labeled as being homophobic or full of hate ect. and I dont think thats right. I was open minded enough to try and watch it but it simply wasnt for me.
